I was in this situation before, everyone got mad at me for rejecting a guy, especially his friend, they wouldn't leave me alone, they think it's cute when they chased their crush down (well some are, but generally if they don't love them back, you're fighting a losing battle). They did make an effort, he is a great guy, but man I wasn't interested and informed them before hand, but here they are setting me up in uncomfortable situations to make me say "yes", it reminds me of those people who propose publicly and would be stunned when they reject their offer, they really think we would say yes just because of the pressure 😅
