Once again thank you so much for this perfectly timed video!! After this super hot random weekend where it was in the 90's+ in NJ I've realized that I haven't bought new shorts in like 10 years and they are so outdated that I have the low rise/thigh-grabby ones lol and as a petite I definitely need to fix that. I love that we share the same style since I also don't like my cheeks showing at all and I don't want thigh-grabby shorts - The ones I wore over the weekend definitely reminded me I can't put this off any longer so I'm so grateful for this video and to have found your channel!!

abercrombie is great for petite shorts. i also purchased levis ribcage shorts and american eagle cuffed midi next level stretch for two different looks.
You should totally try the Levi’s high loose shorts. Not too short or thigh grabby. I’m 5’1’ and they are super comfortable to chase my toddler 🤗
The black Madewell: no stretch: check, decent hem: check, high waist: check, no distress: check. Price is steep though. I always buy vintage, and good 100% cotton non distressed shorts are like 10 bucks.My favourite vintage brands are Jordache, Mustang, Route 66, but I also found great vintage denim shorts by Tommy, Ralph Lauren, Lee, Wrangler. Levi's not so much, their vintage ones are already utilizing some % of spandex, which I don't want.
I love denim Bermuda shorts for Summer ( my legs and thighs have a lot of veins on them so I only wear Bermuda ) wish I could wear a shorter length ! Nice selection of shorts Thanks ☺️
I have some that are more of a mid-length! I got them from BDG from urban outfitters and they are longer but cuffed so that they can be even longer if you take out the cuff. They are also a bit of a looser fit in the thigh and looks a bit A line if you uncuff. They’re a great option if you’re not too into the tight Bermuda
Can you try the 4” mom shorts and the dad shorts from Abercrombie too?? Would love to see how they work for you before I buy some!

Hi Elana! I love your review! Can I ask what size did you get the 501s in and what were the two washes? I notice that if you get in a size 23 and then the 28 is perfect for me. If you get jeans in 24, then 29 is perfect for me. And same thing with tops- If you get XXS then a S is great and if you got XS then Medium is best. I really appreciate when you add the sizes you get them in! Thank you!!! ❤️
