I know this video was about the OLED which I found extremely useful don’t get me wrong, but the accessory I had my eye on the whole time was that NES hoodie.
I CAN'T BELIEVE IT KEVIN! I WAS JUST SEARCHING FOR A SWITCH OLED ACCESSORIES VID AND OF COURSE MY FAVORITE RUclipsR JUST MADE THE VIDEO I WAS LOOKING FOR!!!
First thing I bought after ordering my Switch OLED was the Satisfye OLED grip and case. I play in handheld mode 99.99% of the time and I ALWAYS use a Satisfye grip. Having a case that fits the Switch with the Satisfye grip attached is also really awesome and I can store my games inside so a I always have them. I love it and could not recommend Satisfye enough!
I absolutely love the Binbok 3rd party Joycons and for those of you that have them or are interested the Satisfye Switch Cases, both full size and slim, fit the OLED with the Binbok Joycons attached.
@@Grimgrin666 do you have a link to this satisfye switch case that fits with the binbok controllers?? or at least the full product name... please and thank you
@@therusky Dont get the Satisfye Case for your Switch with the BinBok Joycons. Its a very tight fit and you can tell that its clearly made for the Satisfye Grip and not the Binbok Joycons. Instead just get the BUTTERFOX GRIP CARRY CASE. Its made specifically for big Joy Cons like the Binbok or even the Splitpad Pro
Thanks for pointing out those binbok joycons, they're literally exactly what I was looking for, a controller I can used while the switch is docked that has extra programmable buttons and turbo
I love my Hori split pad pros! With the OLED Switch it still fits in the Butterfox case. I would also get the 1TB micro. I'll never have to worry about memory.
@@xwarxdogx6664 Too wide for me and this updated version have different feeling than old one (which leave marks) - less plesent in touch material. I've have them all. Skull & Co is less heavy too.
There’s a VERY easy modification to the Satisfye 2.0 grips. Basically it’s simply removing the 6 screws. Pull it aprart. Remove the top rubber bumper (right and left top on handles). Put it back together. Game on.
It's not necessary to remove the screws. The OLED slides into the Satisfye 2.0 grip no problem. I switch between handheld mode & docked at least 3x a week, and have no problems putting on or removing the grip.
This actually enlighted me to a whole new world with the light up dock thing, never new those were a thing and they are awesomesauce. Grips, screen protectors and microsd are a must. As for carrying cases, there are a few that unfortunately are too tight for the OLED switch but honestly most will be fine. Specially those that were hard-formed to carry the whole kit in it (dock, Procons and the main unit with joycons attached, cables and some even have pokeball plus spaces in them) those generally will let you slide in the oled switch in just fine.
If you have a Satisfye grip for your older model switch, you can just cut down the rubber bumps on the left/right sides of the Satisfye grip and the OLED fits fine. I did that the day I got my OLED (launch day)….it works fine and I didn’t have to buy a new one for a few mm difference
@@sandman8993 yeah he does 😂 It is a pretty snug fit but works fine unmodded for sure, I only cut them down some because I constantly switch it between handheld and docked mode so it’s a bit easier to remove the grip
The main question that I have in terms of accessories is that I got a grip for the original switch and I came with a case where it fits with the grip attached. I don’t know for sure yet if this grip will work with the OLED or not, but I strongly suspect not. Is there such a combo for the switch OLED already? And is it good if it does?
My Satisfye Pro grip works well with my Switch OLED after I cut the rubber flat inside the grip handles. It slides in easy and is still stuck even if you hold it up side down and shake it!
I just want a skull n co case that comes with a screen flip cover and grips. Like a hybrid case that’s both GRIP and FLIP cover style. I think that would be an instant buy for me
I got myself a new pair of HORI split pads in blue (to match the customized white/blue joycons I made), a hori case, a tempered glass, and I pre-ordered the new Satisfye grip. I’d say I’m good to go.
Kinda curious why recommend the tempered glass over the film. I'm using the film on my phone, and think it's phenomenal. I'm looking forward to applying the same film onto the OLED.
I'm going to disagree here about the pdp stand, I recently bought the OLED with the new white dock and the light effects are great , even without a design plate on, just the lights look amazing!
All of these are the best if the best accessories. I coped all of them before watching this video. Glad to know me having my first switch being the switch oled I knew which accessories to get 👌🏾
I have this new Skull & Co for my Switch OLED and it's really great. Quality also is spot on. Better than Satisfye ZenGrip (both versions) I've used for V1 Switch. Hori joycon with d-pad is trash because of lack vibrations. Same thing with Hori split pad. Better to buy eXtremerate shell, it's really great and d-pad feels very good. Many cases are too tight for OLED Switch! My old Tomtoc slim case is too tight.
For my old switch I've used: "eXtremeRate Soft Touch Black Joycon Handheld Controller Housing (D-Pad Version)". Looks really great. Now I want white for Switch OLED.
