  • Apologies for the rubbish quality and everything else - the video is flipped as I filmed on the front camera FML

    "I'm sort of a beginner."
Literally 2 seconds later: *plays the song flawlessly*👍👍
Great tutorial! If I make one for this same song in the key of C minor do you mind if I put a link to this video?

Found this the other day, finally had some time to dedicate to learning and after much failing I finally am able to play this well (I play the accordion the opposite way so bass keys are on right-hand side which complicates things)

Ah brilliant work 👍 it is actually a standard accordion but because I'm filming it with my front camera it flips it over annoyingly!

Fantastic video mate! I'm desperately learning the accordion for folk evenings and steam rallies, this was an amazing help!

Heya buddy, this literally got me into practicing accordion 😅 one thing I keep missing / not quite catching is the chord notes you use for the left hand as you alternate between the bass notes, would be fantastic if you let us know what they are, Thanks so much!

@@fyodorkrasniy6181That's great to hear!! And thanks for putting up with my very vague tutorial 🤣 so the left hand is playing a D minor mainly then onto a C major, and then onto F, C and back to the D minor to resolve it. I must do a more precise video! Please ask more questions if you need to and I'll try my best ⚓ 🪗

Mate, that's NOT walking bass, it's ALTERNATING bass. Walking bass is something entirely different.
