First, his playing is beyond excellent. Secondly, his facial expressions are wonderful: he looks like he is whispering something very important to his cymbals and then turning his head to listen to what they say, causing his eyes to respond perfectly. What a great show to hear and watch!
Having played for 44 years, the percentage of drum videos that keep me interested to the end are low, but you had me smiling throughout. Thanks for keeping the genre alive, and if I was listening on the radio, I wouldn't expect you to be so young. Nice touch! Btw, who are your influences?

@@jspearsmusic yeah fairs haha, it sounds great! btw i'm pretty sure i saw u play at the ladbroke hall in london! i'm based around there and u guys were killin!
Im in high school and I’ve recently been studying Ted reeds syncopation and Lawrence stone stick control. Did you happen to study out of either of those books when you were in high school?
Very nice feel and great chops. A little silly mix in style that all youngsters do thinking it's individuality. It ll pass. I hope you still play jazz 10 yrs from now. When you mature you can be at the level of some of the greats from the past. They played not what they could but what was needed. That's only a humble opinion. Good luck. Thank you for posting.
