Just wanted to say I had the paper just starting past the fuser then stopping. I replaced the fuser, cleaned all rollers and belt... no love. Changed the board and NOW it works!!! Putting a tiny board in the trash is far more green than the entire printer! So that board holds a fuse and the hall sensor that sees the tab of the paper sensor. Thank you for the video!!!!

Thank you, Terry! I wish I would have watched your video first. Fortunately, I found it before I broke the solder on the red and white plugs. I am sure though, I was close. I was in the process of replacing the fuser based on another video that was not clear on how they came apart. When I realized I couldn't figure it out I did another RUclips search and found this. Whew! It wasn't until I turned the printer on and did a test print that I could breathe a sigh of relief that I hadn't broken a connection. Still, it was good to know if I had the rest of your video showed what to do next.

  • @Catbird50

I shouldn't have replaced the fuser roller late at night, because I ended up damaging the white socket. In order to repair this, does one need to order a new circuit board? Your video by the way was very good, and I probably wouldn't have damaged the socket if I had seen it.

    • @ryanb5841
      @ryanb5841 Год назад

I damaged my white socket as well. I actually pulled it right out of the circuit board. My fix was easier though. I just put two wires, on for each prong on the circuit board, and made them as a jumper cable. It's pretty easy, just connect to the wire, fitting into one of the small holes that would connect to the circuit board, follow the Track on the circuit board to see where it leads to, and push the other end of the wire against the metal of the wire that's connect to that spot. I hope you understand what I mean. It should fit nice and snug, and not come out. As long as there is a decent amount of contact, it should be fine. I bent my wire to make it more snug. No need to replace the whole circuit board. You may need too remove the circuit board to be able to trace where the circuit traces to. I think #1 to the 6th on the board and #2 to the 2nd. Better check to make sure though.

Lucky you! thats are rarely occurring code, cant remember if i've seen that code before. When did this code begin? try checking you have installed the toners in the correct sequence and the drums not mixed up(the black drum and cmy drums are different). You can mix up the cmy drums but if you install a black drum where the cmy is expected I think this error occurs, but i may be wrong. Check you are using the correct driver for your model rather than a "universal or generic driver". Disconnect the printer from your network/computer (isolate it) and print something from the machines own menu settings. If it works ok then its the way its connected to your computers or driver issue..

Hey, I have a 9340cdw and the paper jams at the fuser, it just barely can't reach the next set of rollers to pull it through. I pulled the fuser out and everything looks fine, there appears to be no damage could it still be the fuser that is holding everything up?

Me too! No one seems to know what it is.
I was so damned careful with the connectors.. Updated the firmware..
Just doesn't seem to want to work.
Did you figure it out? I believe it's something to do with that little board with the delicate ports, but I'm not sure exactly what is at fault..
LV0890001 is the number.. And it's describes as a paper eject sensor. Which would make sense. It doesn't appear to sense the paper on the switch, and just halts right there before it can pass over the fixer properly.
It's a cheap part where I am, so I'm going to give it a shot replacing it. Maybe something obvious will be at fault when I can get to it.

So, while that's rather un-technical, it is exactly what it's doing.
I will get back to you. It claims to be arriving as early as Friday.
I'm hoping once I remove that board, something obvious will be faulty with it.
Maybe a broken solder joint or something.
      *Edit*
I pulled the board early, because I had a few minutes.
The same insanely tight connectors for wire size feeling on all of them, but it comes out quite simply.
There's seemingly no damage, so hopefully whatever that little black part is in the middle has burnt out.
Hope is dwindling, but we will see.
I can't find any part numbers on the black part on that tiny board, but it does appear to be a tiny little fuse block, held in place on either side by a clip. They even look replaceable, but again, I can't find a part number.

No. The firmware will stop you. These make any non wifi printer wifi and also extend your wifi range. I use to use these frequently for customers on a budget who couldn't afford the wifi version of a particular printer model as they work out cheaper.

Thanks, mate. I wish I'd seen this video first, because I screwed up exactly what you predicted (based on advice from another RUclips video for removing those two little plugs here: ruclips.net/video/vNS4Nd37Jzg/видео.html). Now I'm looking for the replacement PCB...

Be sure to inform them that their lack of detail in their video has broken your printer.
