How to Repair the Thermostat of a Fuser Unit

Thanks a lot. My Printer had the Error U1 2320. With Your viedeo I was able to repair it without any problem. Beeing not a PC specialist, I had to go to the dealer. Probably the dealer would have said: Buy a new one because my printer is 10 years old. So Thanks a lot for the video!

Thank you, This advice saved me from trying to figure out where to get a new thermostat. I started to drill a 1/16" hole and it just popped out.

Just for my understanding....
Through the bending of the plate the circuit is closed again, but will it cut the power again , if the temperature is too high, just like a new one would?
