Take Chris Redfield's saucy sailor costume in Resident Evil Revelations. From the short shorts to the midriff shirt, to the anchor tattoo, to the gloves, this reads as naval-themed strippergram more than tactical operations at sea. Also, what’s with the pipe? Is that a Popeye thing?
Then there's the cheerleader outfit into which someone stuffed Killer Instinct human-velociraptor hybrid Riptor, presumably before being disemboweller. This is nearly as eyecatching as the live octopus sat on the head of Tekken Tag Tournament 2's Anna, who is otherwise stark naked. Are they working together? Does she know he's up there?
Least explicable of all is Kratos' Dairy Bastard costume: a mascot-like cow suit with milk jugs to replace the blades of chaos and prominent udders. I don't know either.

I feel the cheerleader outfit actually makes sense. We know that Riptor is a human/dino hybrid. We don't know what kind of human was fused with the dino to actually make that happen.

What about the "Gold" skin for Quiet in MGS5? As bad ideas go, painting a superpowered sniper gold is right up there with giving the velociraptor a cheerleading outfit.

I was really surprised Heather from Silent Hill 3 didn't make the list. The Princess Heart costume had a Sailor Moon-esque transformation sequence upon being equipped, and it even granted you special powers!

I thought the 1960s Batman costume was awesomely, hilariously nuts. I appreciate how they took the time to keep the skin animated as it snaps into place like the other costumes. I was going to mention one of the costumes for Fatal Frame V but don't think that unlockable is available in the US.
Yeah, fighting games and JRPG's usually have the weirdest and pervy-est DLC outfits. Was disappointed not to see Lighting's Queen Moogle (the outfit covered entirely in little moogles) outfit on this list or Heather's (from Silent Hill 3) Princess Heart outfit. But outside, that good video! :)

Kuma ransacking R.Mika's house and wearing her clothes is a lot worse than Chun-Li skinning Panda or Zangief's Kuma lounge wear.

I don't know what these guys are talking about, these are all the most magnificent costumes in gaming history. I don't know which one I love the most. Chris' sailor suit, the octopus, the raptor cheerleader, and Kuma's adorable outfit are all strong contenders.

How about Clock Tower III, where protagonist Alyssa Hamilton can forgo her standard private school uniform, in exchange for any of the following:
-A jeans and jean-jacket combo, with cowgirl hat, but no shirt
-A set of medieval plate armor, but no pants
-What can only be described as a leather hooker outfit, with knee high boots, fishnets, and exposed cleavage
For the record, Alyssa just manages to turn *_fifteen_* over the course of the events of this game. Now consider again the above options, and realize how squicky it all is.
Worse, those clothes are found in the wardrobe of her room in the family estate that she hasn't been in for 3 years, meaning when she last wore those she was, at the oldest, 11 going on 12.
