Which tells us that there are two possible goals to achieve in life: Either be the best in your field or the worst. Both will give you recognition and fame. ;)
SCharlesDennicon Did Hitler lose though? That mofo was chillin' in South America when everyone thought he killed himself, unpunished for his dastardly deeds.
The Disaster Artist was great and Franco truly captured the essence. The Room is about two dreamers that made their own movie when Hollywood would not give them a chance. Their is something very special about the Room. Their are screenings all over the world. One of my favorite movies of all times is Shawshank but their are not screenings all over the world for that movie. I’ve seen the Room at a theater 2-3 times and Tommy was at both showings. That makes this a very special movie.
The funny part is most movies don't get made by Hollywood because they don't get funding, but The Room had a SIX MILLION DOLLAR budget. FAR better movies have been made for a fraction of that, Super Troopers being a great example of a very popular, well made comedy that only cost $1 million.
Funny you should mention that, Psycho had the same problem with producers. The big difference being that Hitchcock didn't manage to inadvertently turn it into a comedy.
mikitz psycho didn’t get the budget because studios thought people weren’t ready for a movie like that and they really weren’t meanwhile the room didn’t get a budget because everything about it was terrible and the guys making shouldn’t of been anywhere near a film set
One thing I love about this one is that it really humanizes tommy. Like whatever the end result was, tommy poured his heart and soul to make the movie. Hats off to all the filmmakers. It's easy to critique something but making something is challenging!! Thanks Tommy!!
This movie will win best picture Tommy will be so happy after making a really bad movie that turned into a really good one then turned into a background story movie. What a story Mark
In my opinion, Neil Breen kind of has talent... really hidden, but it's there. I mean, if you told me his movies were made by a 12 year old kid, i would be genuinely impressed. And he has some interesting ideas. Buuut, he has a complete lack of technique in every single aspect of film making... to the point of being hilarious. What i mean is that is easier understand his way of thinking than the one of Tommy Wiseau. You more or less can understand his choices, unlike Tommy in the flower shop scene for example. I have the feeling The Room has something Neil Breen won't be able to replicate... but who knows. I could be wrong.
After watching the Disaster Artist and having seen the Room several times, my brother and I are convinced the Room is an actual piece of art that was lost in its execution.
SPOILER: That ending pissed me off. WHAT HAPPENED TO EVERYONE!! I know the meaning of it all and Spike finally closed the book on his past but it still pissed me off.
Just watched this movie in theaters w my friends and we all loved it:) Anytime you give a movie a B+ or better I usually watch it in theaters. Thanks Chris!
Chris is my favorite reviewer on RUclips. I feel like he gives everything a fair chance, is insightful with his critiques, and if he loves something he isn’t afraid to state it.
For a good reason to why he shouldn't, check Cooper Zilkenat's comment. I love needledrop, but the comments on Stuckmanns videos would get to the same level and that would suck.
Just a suggestion maybe retry that tommy impression cause it sounds like a valley girl who got her wisdom teeth out but you kinda nailed it with your hilariosity review.
I honestly hopes this gives a ton of recognition and money for him, because he's been really OK with his fame (not originally, but after a while just went with it)
According to Greg Sestero's book,Wiseau got the money from a business venture, where he imported italian designer leather jackets, from S.Korea and sold them directly to various boutiques in the L.A. area. Officially the movie cost 6 million USD! It's speculated that the whole thing, was a money laundry thing, for organised crime. It's very common practice for organised crime families,to use movie productions in order to laundry their dirty money, usually it's some schlocky b-movie or porn productions. There's also the story of an investigative journalist, who wanted to do some reasearch on Wiseau and his past, which got a ceast & desist order from Tommy's lawyers.
I've got the audiobook and ...wow! First off, Greg does a brilliant Tommy impersonation. Stories of the making of The Room would drive the best directors in the biz to contemplate retirement, suicide....or both. "This is my film. We do MY way!" without concept one of how movies are made and all the little details that go into the making of a movie. At the end of the day, there's an ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE feel to that movie. Genuinely inspiring.
I just finished watching this movie. It is hilarious! I wasn't familiar with The Room but noticed the roof top scene that you show in your hilariosity intros and just had to see what you thought about this movie. I now have to find a copy of The Room... And helped Wiseau recoup some of that $6,000,000... That's an insane budget!
My wife and I saw The Disaster Artist in theaters. My wife is also the one who had me watch The Room a year before the Disaster Artist came out. We had a great theater experience when we saw it, everyone there felt like they had seen The Room and knew all the references. It's rare to get a good theater experience like that.
It's like seeing two universes come together Marvel meets DC Ali meets Mike Tyson or Prince meets Michael Jackson all in the same room to my favourite reviewers at the same time keep up the good work guys maybe review together
Definitely funnier than Jackass League, but when the extended Blurays come out, I'm buying JL. Y'know, the extended versions are actually the canon versions. Which is cool, cuz the movie needed moooore time.
Stuckmann is awesome. He is my go-to for movie reviews. For movies I'm not sure about as far as whether I want to see them, I will watch his review to push me in the right direction.
Just saw the film with a QnA with James and Dave Franco. Very heartfelt and surprisingly inspiring film. Highly recommend!! QnA was very interesting, especially the stories they were telling of Tommy. Both sad and heartwarming. Can't wait to see him in February at my first ever The Room screening.
Can you please review the movie Wonder? I’m going on my first date to the movies and I wanna see it with this girl but I need to know your thoughts on it first.
Sean Laing I know I'm no Chris Stuckmann but I was dragged to the movie with literally no expectations and I was pleasantly surprised. It has its issues of manipulating your heart strings and just being overwhelmingly emotional if that makes any sense, but i say give it a chance
I didnt want to see it, but I was dragged to it but I really loved it. In my theatre the audiance even clapped at the end (I didnt think it really needed that but aparently they did)
Franco should have included an extended Doggie scene at the store, i would love to see more from that intriguing pug and a follow up to the infamous "Anyway how's your sex life?"
The ending made me laugh and made me sad. Not every movie does that. I did see The Room before i saw The disaster artist and Ive been reading the book too. The movie was very realistic and made Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero very relatable.
I have watched this review three times now. I have been waiting for this for so long now, and I thank you Chris. I love this review and I can't wait to see the Disaster Artist!!!
In the end Tommy Wiseau won didn't he? He now has a movie based on his life story.
Which tells us that there are two possible goals to achieve in life: Either be the best in your field or the worst. Both will give you recognition and fame. ;)
Quotenwagnerianer wise words.
Dormammu I’ve come to bargain
Played by James Franco, no less, who incidentally also played James Dean... Tommy's idol
SCharlesDennicon Did Hitler lose though? That mofo was chillin' in South America when everyone thought he killed himself, unpunished for his dastardly deeds.
*YOU'RE TEARING ME APART STUCKMAN*
hmm yes uninteresting
Give us a percentage as to how much of the fruit in your basket was low-hanging when it was on the tree
Justin Young it’s with 2 n’s
I love how this comment isn't even an hour old, yet it already has 530+ up votes.
Justin Young why are you literally everywhere
The scene where they all laugh at Tommy’s movie was genuinely heartbreaking
first time i ever cried to a movie
I was laughing too I feel bad
The Room did bettet than BvS, Suicide Squad and The Dark Tower on rotten tomatoes.
D Maldo lel rotten tomatoes credibility is < 1%
Too bad you can't spell better.
Um, yeah. Lots of things is. It's also better than all those movies combined lol.
D Maldo most of the reviews are saying"it's soo awful that its good"
It was, because they were saying that is so awful that its good, Rotten will always have credibility, deal with it.

The Room is proof that sometimes having a unique voice is enough
I preferred the manga. The movie misses alot of character arcs.
The Chiefs
The Anime is way better
The Chiefs the movie is just the OVA.
you know manga is a how you pronounce mango in arabic
i don’t know why this is relevant
Also in Malay. Still, no relevance here.
The Chiefs
Yeah. Too bad the prequels are no good. I mean, Ewan McGregor as Mark was a good choice, but everything else was terrible.
I did not watch it. I did noottttttt.
Oh hi Chris.
This is a genius coment.... Congratulations, you make me laught
I didn't watch it. It's not true. It's bulls**t. I did not watch this. I DID NOT! Oh hi Chris!
Shem Doupe check out my thoughts! > ruclips.net/video/on3Zm6-s614/видео.html

Perfect 😅😅✊
One thing I love about this one is that it really humanizes tommy. Like whatever the end result was, tommy poured his heart and soul to make the movie. Hats off to all the filmmakers. It's easy to critique something but making something is challenging!! Thanks Tommy!!
You should read the book! It was a lot more moving to me, in my personal opinion. You also learn a lot more about Tommy Wiseau as a person.
first time i watched the room i thought it was dubbed not kidding
barry allen Parts of it were dubbed...except I think Tommy dubbed his own voice...
barry allen 😂
It's like watching one of those bad lip readings
So true
This movie will win best picture Tommy will be so happy after making a really bad movie that turned into a really good one then turned into a background story movie. What a story Mark
Jack Nicholson This movie will not win Best Picture
well, whatever
coverblown21 it will bye
He'll still think his movie is better.
coverblown21 You don't know anything man! Leave your stupid comments in your pocket!
Hi doggie.

You're my favorite costumer.

Haha. What a review, Chris.
Oh hai Frodo
Welcome to my world, Frodo.
Boooooooooooooooo
Yeah you can say that again
The Disaster Artist is the best biography film since Tim Burton's Ed Wood.
@ agreed
No. The Social Network is the greatest film of all time and its a biopic
Thomas Hicks
Now that was a snore fest! Even Eisenberg couldn’t save that one.
It was boring for sure. But I’m always fascinated by Depp-no matter how sucky a movie is, he seems to rise above it.
the fact that Social Network blasts every biography movie, despite covering anything from the real events just proves it's precious quality
"Its real hallywood movie"
Browncheeze no Mickey Mouse stuff
This makes Tommy look like American Borat
Imagine James Franco getting an oscar nod for being a bad actor
ChessTauren yea but his performance was a guy being a bad actor
😑😑😑
he won a golden globe for that
Damn, you got James Franco to cameo in this review? That's crazy!
That wig is a character all its own
*its
Now we just need some Neil Breen movies like this
In my opinion, Neil Breen kind of has talent... really hidden, but it's there.
Breen is an actual filmmaker who is constantly trying to improve... Wiseau is just a hack that has one movie.
Who?
RICH DO WE SEE HIS BALLSACK?!
NO MORE BOOKS!
After watching the Disaster Artist and having seen the Room several times, my brother and I are convinced the Room is an actual piece of art that was lost in its execution.
That Tommy Wiseau impression is spot on 😂
After I watched the Room I ended up in a hospital on Guerrero St
RandyButternubs1 Hahahaha, What a story RandyButternubs1.
margareth michelina You can say that again
I have a problem with Lisa. She says that I hit her.
No it's not true. Don't even ask. What's going on with you?
😂. Hahaha. How?
When I saw the trailer, I was wondering why Greg and Tommy looked so alike. Found out the actors were brothers.
so does James Franco n his brother dave
Donnell Coleman that's who he's talking about
I thought he ment the original
Myles Johnson r u brain dead?
joe mcnoe shit wrong person soz dudes
Hahaha great review Chris! Anyway how's your sex life?
His is fine but mine is legendary
He cannot tell you, it's confidential.
Hows yours?
It's literally a line from The Room...
Varinder Bhandal "I give my sex life an A+"
Loved how you laughed at your own catchphrase xD
Chris imitation sounds like a thai lady haha
Evolved
Chris has a really good Tommy Wiseau Impression
Finally I will find out what Tommy Wiseau meant by saying that "computer business is too competitive"
It could be a reference to Birdemic, where wooden Rod works for a Computer company.
What is his Euro-trash accent?
Chris Wiseau is the best thing ever XD
hahahahaha what a story Mystic Rage
Hazelpixel You can say that again!
Seth Rogen and James Franco make funny underrated movies. Dave Franco is good too.
How funny will it be when James Franco wins an Oscar, betraying one of the worst actors to ever live.
Derek Harmon that would be awesome
*portraying? I'm sorry. It's a really bad autocorrect.
Derek Harmon YOU KILLED MY FATHER
evrebode portray me, im fed up wif dis whirl
That would be such an irony.
6:06 That Denny impersonation is spot on
Nice Cowboy Bebop Shirt
SPOILER: That ending pissed me off. WHAT HAPPENED TO EVERYONE!! I know the meaning of it all and Spike finally closed the book on his past but it still pissed me off.
I bought it for him
I like it too.
+Theodore Stuckmann you his bro?
John Smith yes
Well it doesn't matter how great this movie is. What matters is if the bank make good money
They already put James Franco's ideas into practice.
*a lot of money
OhEm Jet good one LOL
The bank saves money. They are using me, and I am the fool...
And he's getting a promotion very soon.
Chris stuckmann grew up with Tommy Wiseau
Beaujohnson7 I grew up with Chris Stuckmann.

No need to say more. It's already perfect.
Please make Tommy a reoccurring character. He could be Cal to your Fantano. (if Needle Drop fans get me)
I grew up with checking the score and then dipping
For a good reason to why he shouldn't, check Cooper Zilkenat's comment.
I love needledrop, but the comments on Stuckmanns videos would get to the same level and that would suck.
Yeah dude. Fuck having fun.
Real fans watch a fantano vid, watch a stuckmann vid, then dip
Man you always hatin on the Zack Snyder!
*Ha ha ha ! What a story, Chris !*
That impression... 👍🏻👍🏻 Oscar worthy
When James Franco and Seth Rogan work together its almost always genius.
Just a suggestion maybe retry that tommy impression cause it sounds like a valley girl who got her wisdom teeth out but you kinda nailed it with your hilariosity review.
I honestly hopes this gives a ton of recognition and money for him, because he's been really OK with his fame (not originally, but after a while just went with it)
So I take it The Disaster Artist is this generations Ed Wood (as in the 1994 film)?
Manda1771 that 94 "Ed Wood" is Johnny Deep's best performance
agree
Strangely enough this might be James Franco's best performance.
That's a brilliant comparison!
Actually i think it's Tim Burton's best movie, too. At least it's my favourite!
Nice shirt
I want it, I swear.
I know, right x)
What's it's referencing? I know it's the HUMANZ album cover but with different people. Just looks cool and wondering
Mr.tibs_FPOTW Cowboy Bebop

I NEED that shirt
i was thinking Blur
It's not, though 😅
what an amazing review chris i give it 9 long haired James Francos out of 10
I've heard that Tommy apparently sold leather jackets in Korea and that's how he had a lot of money to begin with. Apparently
It's very common practice for organised crime families,to use movie productions in order to laundry their dirty money, usually it's some schlocky b-movie or porn productions.

doubleP I thought they were counterfeit jeans
Texshy I thought the book said he got it from his French bird toys.
That T-SHIRT!!! Cowboy Bebop meets Gorillaz! fucking love it!
People including me may laugh at him but atleast we can respect him for trying to create something

Chris Wiseau is just like, "Doe toush meh meterfohker!"
"No, I can’t. ANYWAY, how is your sex lahfe????"
His Tommy Wiseau impression sounds like Brüno.
realmattcooke I think it sounds more like Mr. Plinkett.
Hahahaha
Exactly what i thought
Bruno Wiseau??? lmao
Holy shit. Tommy Wiseau is the Rebecca Black of Hollywood.
Yes.
0:14 I WAS PRAYING THAT YOU WOULD DO A GAG LIKE THIS!!!
"You don't want me tell you what I'd give the room" 😂 That sent me to fits of laughter.
I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on The Punisher Chris!
Please make Chris wiseau a reoccurring character in your videos!
It can be his Cal Chuchesta.
YES! melon
Chris should collaborate with Filthy Frank and have Chris Wiseau fight Pink Guy

It would be like "The Room"
Lets throw the ball around
Two things. First: that joke at the end was amazing. Second: What is your new tattoo?! You're getting so many
My wife and I saw The Disaster Artist in theaters. My wife is also the one who had me watch The Room a year before the Disaster Artist came out. We had a great theater experience when we saw it, everyone there felt like they had seen The Room and knew all the references. It's rare to get a good theater experience like that.

Oh hai Chris!
Should I watch the room first before watching the room?
Noble Haze yes
You really don't have to if you don't want to... The film documentary is pretty good so you only have to know the plotpoints of the film
James Franco is such a talented guy. He nailed Wiseau's character nigh-perfectly.
Your wisseau is amazing
Stephen Albright he just made him gay for some reason?
...ly bad
His laugh sounds exactly like that.
"Ha ha ha that's a great story mark"
Stephen Albright nope it was shit
Well with The Room basically being The Godfather, The Disaster Artist is essentially The Godfather Part II, so I knew it be great
Chris Stuckmann you are the greatest!!!!!
ANYWAY, HOW'S YOUR SEX LIFE
Tommy Wiseau is from Poland and he was born in 1955.
I love this film! It inspired me to get a copy of the Room for my collection, which now a favorite of mine.
Did you enjoy this more than Justice League?
His reviews:
Justice League - B-
The Disaster Artist - A-
Fail League is a disaster
Definitely funnier than Jackass League, but when the extended Blurays come out, I'm buying JL. Y'know, the extended versions are actually the canon versions. Which is cool, cuz the movie needed moooore time.

Please review Fateful Findings
SCARFACE9511 just heard about that last week is it really bad???
Tha Ruthless 1_ AZF JESUS CHRIST YES lol its worst and funnier than the room
SCARFACE9511 the movie to end all movies.
Tha Ruthless 1_ AZF
Far worse, The Room as bad as it was, looked like a B movie and had a budget. Fateful Findings looked like a bad home movie.
I can't believe you committed suicide. I cannot believe you committed suicide. How could you have done this? How could you have committed suicide?
*Ha ha what a story, Chris*
Stuckmann is awesome. He is my go-to for movie reviews. For movies I'm not sure about as far as whether I want to see them, I will watch his review to push me in the right direction.
I'm all for Chris doing every single Hilariocity as Tommy, lmao!
I keep rewatching this video for the Tommy impersonation. Hilarious!
I think that shirt deserves a little more appreciation
OH HI CHRIS !!!
Shout to the Gorillaz - Humanz X Cowboy Beebop shirt
Omg, I was so happy when I saw the T-shirt design🤗 . Legit, I want one like that😁
"Oohhh are you gonna say it?"--me, every time one of your reviews draws to a close XD
I did not dislike your video, its not true, its bullshit I did not dislike the video oh hi Chris
OMG Chris I burst out laughing at the end! I woke the neighbour's dog up hahaaa
FREAKIN love your review. Your tommy is SPOT ON, chris! literally laughing my ass off!!
1:58 i half expected Tommy to throw the football in his face right there😂
That would've been funny.
Long Dark Hair really BECOMES YOU, Chris!
Tommy actually looks like Chris here
Can you please review the movie Wonder? I’m going on my first date to the movies and I wanna see it with this girl but I need to know your thoughts on it first.

I didnt want to see it, but I was dragged to it but I really loved it. In my theatre the audiance even clapped at the end (I didnt think it really needed that but aparently they did)
I read the book and it was really good and hopefully the movie is the same
The last two minutes of this video was funnier than all the absurdity in the room it self. Great job man
Franco should have included an extended Doggie scene at the store, i would love to see more from that intriguing pug and a follow up to the infamous "Anyway how's your sex life?"
Review the Punisher
David Corro It's a 13 episode TV show that came out less than a week ago. He's not a robot, you know. Give him some time to review it.

Does he even review television shows? Better to review "baby driver"
Zac Efron as Dan Janjigian is the greatest part of the movie
You’re tearing me apart stuckman.
