Tmack yea it’s honestly incredible. Even the worst movies you can find, there’s still usually one or two good somewhat decisions you can point to. A broken clock is right twice a day. But this movie somehow did the near impossible and did everything wrong at every f’ing turn. It’s truly incredible
It's a well shot movie to be honest. But, the acting, writing and the plot itself is just unbearable and nonsensical. I didn't understand why Chris didn't like that CGI scene, I thought it was cool.

Which Halle Berry lacks, she is an untalented woman and has been highly fortune of her critical acclaim, which are honestly god awful and just undeserving. All her performances are flat out boring.

When this movie came out, a local radio station in my area- Seattle/Tacoma- bought out all the tickets for two showings of this movie, and proceeded to give all the tickets out for free and encouraged everyone to come and heckle, make jokes, yell and scream and be loud and have fun, and the movie theater totally supported it. It was one of the funnest times I’ve ever had at a movie and I’ve never been to anything else like it. I’ll never forget it and I wish this was a somewhat regular occurrence with absolutely horrible movies like this. It was all in good fun, the theater was completely packed, and the jokes were flying! It was hilarious and the most fun I’ve ever had at a theater! For that, I will forever appreciate this movie, for all the wrong reasons lol.

Especially this one and The Room, where he dressed like Tommy Wiseau and the other guy in that movie, and recreated the whole rooftop scene, hilariously. I watched this movie when I was quite young. At that time I was like "wooow cool" and also I really love cats. But as I got older and understanding more of plots, storylines, script writings, cinematographers, etc, I must say that this movie actually not as good as I had thought when I was younger. But hey, give credit to Halle Berry for admitting that the movie sucks, lol. She's gorgeous in the movie. Nice costume-design. She's entertaining, sexy, funny, and captivating. I personally think she didn't deserve the hate. And this movie is much better than CATS.
I finally found my crew. People need to realize that this has nothing to do with comics there is no DC or Batman. These were the days when science fiction witty comedy movies were popular. Movies like shaggy dog being a good example. And Catwoman takes that route it doesn't necessarily take things seriously but just tries to entertain a casual non comic nerd audience.

This movie actually has that campy and hilarious quality found in some bad movies that I like. The evil makeup plot is awful and the action scenes are atrocious but I find it quite entertaining to see her actually acting like a cat. Halle Berry is the best part of this movie. She really didn't deserve all the hate.

The amount of cuts is jawdropping here, and some cuts lasting for 7 frames, like that one kick where she inexplicably is upside down, but standing in the next cut. Amazing stuff. The three seconds from 22:06-22:09 has 12 god damn cuts.

I would shortly say, as a woman myself, it is because we are thought from childhood that beauty is what counts. Little smart but "not so pretty" girls get overlooked and bullied and as a more sensitive gender that stays with us so deep that we do everything we can later in life not to feel that rejection ever again. The second thing is we are bombarded with "beautiful" girls in the media and many times we see how good-looking girls seem to not need morals or any qualities whatsoever to get the man. Men do grow up and start to want more than looks but until they do so girls are already scared by teenage boys. I am not blaming men, that is a nature of humans I guess. I blame media because it pushes the narrative of what is "hot" when it comes to looks and promoting if you do not look like the photoshop version of yourself you are not good enough. And with promoting surgery now the situation is getting much worse for new generations. And when we actually meet a man who thinks we are good and beautiful enough in our raw and unperfect form we have a hard time to believe since all that we had is being told we are not good enough. That is when it comes to an obsession with being "hot" and when it comes to fashion women focus on that, actually, because of other women- they know men don't care about that but women do. So women are in a never-ending loop of trying to be good enough to both sides and it is exhausting. It takes introspection, strength and self-confidence to break from these chains. I apologize for my English.

Back when this movie came out, I was pretty much lusting after Halle Berry and I was getting so into the action sequences that I didn’t even think about how terrible it was. The really funny thing (and believe me, I am not making this up): next to me are a) my Nintendo Switch Animal Crossing Edition, and b) the exact Batman: The Long Halloween edition you were reading! That “wow” moment aside, I loved your take on Catwoman. The only thing missing (in my opinion) was a mention of the completely awful costume, especially the mask which always makes me think of a Vollswagen (old) Beetle’s front trunk.
Its because Tim Burton is actually a very good director and knows how to use top level talented actors, a little quirky but very good. Pritof is a b level director. He should be directing commercials or something not hollywood movies.

I watched this movie when I was quite young. At that time I was like "wooow cool" and also I really love cats. But as I got older and understanding more of plots, storylines, script writings, cinematographers, etc, I must say that this movie actually not as good as I had thought when I was younger.
But hey, give credit to Halle Berry for admitting that the movie sucks, lol. She's gorgeous in the movie. Nice costume-design. She's entertaining, sexy, funny, and captivating. I personally think she didn't deserve the hate.
And this movie is much better than CATS.

I finally found my crew. People need to realize that this has nothing to do with comics there is no DC or Batman. These were the days when science fiction witty comedy movies were popular. Movies like shaggy dog being a good example. And Catwoman takes that route it doesn't necessarily take things seriously but just tries to entertain a casual non comic nerd audience.

Because there's absolutely NOTHING else to laugh at in this "film" and seeing stupid in action can make you giggle. That doesn't make watching this "film" any less painful... Michelle Pfeiffer was the best Catwoman, hands down..
This movie actually has that campy and hilarious quality found in some bad movies that I like. The evil makeup plot is awful and the action scenes are atrocious but I find it quite entertaining to see her actually acting like a cat. Halle Berry is the best part of this movie. She really didn't deserve all the hate.

The amount of cuts is jawdropping here, and some cuts lasting for 7 frames, like that one kick where she inexplicably is upside down, but standing in the next cut. Amazing stuff. The three seconds from 22:06-22:09 has 12 god damn cuts.

I would shortly say, as a woman myself, it is because we are thought from childhood that beauty is what counts. Little smart but "not so pretty" girls get overlooked and bullied and as a more sensitive gender that stays with us so deep that we do everything we can later in life not to feel that rejection ever again.
The second thing is we are bombarded with "beautiful" girls in the media and many times we see how good-looking girls seem to not need morals or any qualities whatsoever to get the man. Men do grow up and start to want more than looks but until they do so girls are already scared by teenage boys. I am not blaming men, that is a nature of humans I guess.
I blame media because it pushes the narrative of what is "hot" when it comes to looks and promoting if you do not look like the photoshop version of yourself you are not good enough. And with promoting surgery now the situation is getting much worse for new generations.
And when we actually meet a man who thinks we are good and beautiful enough in our raw and unperfect form we have a hard time to believe since all that we had is being told we are not good enough.
That is when it comes to an obsession with being "hot" and when it comes to fashion women focus on that, actually, because of other women- they know men don't care about that but women do. So women are in a never-ending loop of trying to be good enough to both sides and it is exhausting.
It takes introspection, strength and self-confidence to break from these chains.

I disagree it's about how old you look not about how old you actually are.if you look like your 20 in your 40 your not going to be thrown away like that.
Back when this movie came out, I was pretty much lusting after Halle Berry and I was getting so into the action sequences that I didn’t even think about how terrible it was. But now that I’m adult, I now realize that the critics weren’t exaggerating and that it is in fact terrible. Thank for doing this, Chris

The really funny thing (and believe me, I am not making this up): next to me are a) my Nintendo Switch Animal Crossing Edition, and b) the exact Batman: The Long Halloween edition you were reading!
That “wow” moment aside, I loved your take on Catwoman. The only thing missing (in my opinion) was a mention of the completely awful costume, especially the mask which always makes me think of a Vollswagen (old) Beetle’s front trunk.
