@ the most overall yards by any bears qb ever. That’s with 3 different play callers and a fired head coach. Not to mention he played behind the 2nd worst oline in all of football. He’s definitely proved himself especially in Chicago. The hating has to stop.
I would be shocked if they took a LT. The Bears have massive needs at Edge, Guard and Center. BTW Rome Odunze cannot get open. Something to watch in 2025.
@RampageRich nah, i say if will campbell is there at 10 we take him. If not we trade down for another 2nd or 3rd pick and pick josh simmons or banks at maybe 16-18. We get an extra pick in the top 100 and still get a great tackle. Simmons is the best pure tackle in the draft and will campbell is the best oline talent in terms of versatility imo. I would honestly be ok with trading fown and getting that extra pick,preferably in the 2nd but if not i feel we trad the extra 3rd pick we would mistlikely get with a 5th to get back into the 2nd round for 3 picks there. Im thinking tackle 1st round, guard, dline, rb 2nd round if we have 3 picks, then dline or fs 3rd round.If we get a an extra 3rd and cant trade back in wed go tackle 1st round, guard de 2nd, hb dt 3rd round. Either way it should be a good draft on top of a good free agency to fill the holes we need to make out team competitive
I think coaching is the reason for the sacks. Poor offensive scheme and poor O-line coaching. Poor offensive coaching period. If this is the case, is it so much the O-line personnel?
Get rid of Poles he can not plan ahead. He should have gotten OT and C last year. This year there is no one. So you looking at 2 to 3 years until the OL is fixed.
No we not we can fix the line in free agency there is some good talent that poles must try to sign, get Trey Smith, and Kevin Zietler to play guards , Aleric Jackson at LT, or Ronnie Stanley, and Dalmon at center from Atlanta, and mechi becton at guard is a option to. So we need to sign at least 3 of those guys

I like Defense in the first round, being able to stop the run is key. Man to man 75% is my read in the secondary.
Hopefully we trade back and can get 1 of those 3 Tackles.
Josh Conerly and Josh Simmons are the 2 best Left Tackles in this class.

Bears took Kiran with an injury history. I still think he can make the move to Guard and be pretty good.

Does arm length really matter that much as a metric when are line has looked like shit since that has become an important metric for the team
Arm length is important league wide especially for left tackles Height amd arm length is critical
