So glad your all safe!!!! That sky was scary but strangely intriguing and kinda beautiful - says she on the other side of the world!!! We have cyclones here in Australia, and years ago I was miles away from it, but wow when the tail end whipped by it was really frightening!! Stay safe, thanks for sharing and again sooooo glad you and your little ones are safe.
@@collinsddc1206 Tornados are naturally occurring weather events and it has nothing to do with being chosen whether or not your home will be destroyed. So many loving, kind people lose everything.
When I saw the warning for Barbourville I started praying for you and Stivers homestead. That was a bad storm system, at one point my county was under a tornado warning as well. We are about 2 hours south of you, we had lots of flash flooding, but everyone is ok, so glad you are all safe. Thanks for sharing this amazing footage! ❤
These are always scary, we are in Texas- last May we were hit by an EF1 tornado... our greenhouse took the full brunt and roof, however we lost only plants, and neighbors trees on our place... all our animals and myself were fine- my hubby was 2 hours away at work and when he got 2 miles from home, it took 5 hours to get through the downed trees and damage... it was crazy. Praying for y'all ❤
Now you all should understand why alot of Iowans, when we get a tornado warning or watch ...We go outside and watch for it. Of course we also have a clear path to the basement if it get's within our vision. We're curios and in awe, but not STUPID.
Scary yet memorizing at the same time. My husband and my farm is located in ne ky and we have been going through some rough storms to. Its scary when there is nothing you can do but try to make sure what you have is safe and just hold tight and pray everything you have worked so hard for makes it through. I have a pregnant goat due anytime and i was keeping my fingers crossed she would hold off till the storms pass. I pray y'all are safe and well ❤🐐🐄
Wow, I was on Ryan Halls livestream when that went through. When storms started up north here rotation went over us but there wasn't high winds. Glad you're all ok
Wow...amazing..we are in central Indiana and 2 tornados in our area in 3 months...end of March went thru our addition. But thankfully we got missed and even though houses were severely damaged...no one was injured
Y’all’s video is on repeat on the weather channel. Soon as it came on I said “hey I know that barn. It’s the Stivers” We had an F1 hit in July. Crazy nuts! Cool you caught it. Pray y’all don’t have any damage.
Frightening...You are really blessed. Thank God you are safe. I'm always trying to find a good weather channel on you tube here in Louisville. It's scary being relatively new to an area and not know where to get the most reliable news updates.
That area of Knox County has always been bad for tornadoes. We still have a home in West Knox County. When we married and I started living there, was the first time I ever saw it rain sideways. Looked like I was setting in the middle of a river.
Years ago, when we lived in Wichita, I saw a bunch of my neighbors standing in my backyard. I went to see why, and they were all looking up. I looked up in the sky, and dark grey clouds were swirling just beyond my yard. Someone said, " we better head to the shelter ". Only one neighbor had a tornado shelter. On our way over there, the whistle blew the all clear. I can't beleive it, but the cloud had lifted and everyone just went back to their own homes. It was very surreal.
Wow, that was great footage. Praying no one gets hurt today. Something is brewing for sure, the low moisture clouds after the rain are headed NNW and the higher clouds were headed south, now have turned more easterly. I'm in south AR. Just watching that and having a marker to watch the upper clouds made me worry about states east of me.
Did you notice how the chickens all ran into the barn right as the siren started sounding off? They knew to take cover! That would’ve been pretty scary!
I had to laugh at your rooster though he was calling the hens and then you saw them when the tornado was over the house running for their lives into the barn, it was funny. Glad you are all safe.
The way that chicken scurried left and right to warn the others is surreal. It was just a grey sky at the moment...then tornado. The animals know somehow.
No doubt the hand of God was shielding you and your home. Thank you Jesus for divine protection. And special shout out to that rooster sounding an alarm to the barn yard! He’s the man!
Wowza! How often do y’all have sirens go off there? I grew up in Wisconsin and that kind of weather happened maybe every other year back then. Scary and so thankful you’re all ok! 🙌
That was unbelievably terrifying. You know how much tornado scared the shit out of me? Like they really scare me imagine getting caught in one Jesus Christ.
