Very unfortunate what happened with The Collins Kids career....they were right on the brink of potential national stardom, with a movie deal also in the works, when Lorrie (engaged to Rick Nelson at the time) was seduced by and then eloped with Johnny Cash's road manager, thereby ending the act.

The Collins Kids always had a vibrant charm that just drew you to them. Sadly, maybe that comment was true- "They rocked too much to be Country and they were too Country for Rock-n-Roll." I loved them since I first saw them on a round-tube TV in 1956.
