    Cool setup, and i like the turbo sounds! My guess is it probably makes a little more than a stock truck being that it's still limited by a stock HPFP and injectors, but the EGTs are down and BP ratio is probably closer to ideal. I'd like to see a few WOT hits going through some gears on this thing!

      I think it would be ok on a wot run but I'm waiting till I have funds set aside for a trans before I risk grenading the stock one lol. Mpd says this kit makes 650hp as it sits on stock fuel with the compound setup. These 6.7s make close 600 on a tune alone. Give me a few months and I'll do a follow up video. • @leoluvsdodge

      The 6r140 will hold around 700hp without being built. After that it’ll need torn apart to be built for more power. Most built units out now support 1000hp or more so unless you plan on pushing beyond the 700hp mark I’d just get a used transmission if yours fails or just go for the 1000hp built unit and call it a day. I actually sold this truck in December but it has 50,000 miles on this turbo setup now and the transmission is still holding the extra power perfectly fine with 140k on the truck total.

    • @leoluvsdodge
      @leoluvsdodge  Год назад +1

      I guess it all depends on your budget and goals and just what ya like. I personally like my ford way better than my Cummins for several reasons. Rides better, smoother power, more reliable, the aluminum body gives me peace of mind against fighting rust, the 10spd in my 22 platinum makes the truck an absolute beast for towing even bone stock. If you want a truck you can let stock and just drive every day and have plenty of power without feeling like it needs deleted so you can pull better then buy a ford all day long. If you want something to play around with and make a bunch of power a 6.7 ford gets expensive real fast. I had 10k in my Cummins trans for 800 hp then all you’d need is a 2nd gen swap, 10 mil cp3 and injectors and your making 800-1000hp so basically your in it for under 20k in a Cummins. If you want 1000hp out of a 6.7 ford your in the 30-40k range from what I figured. Sorry for the lengthy comment but hopefully that helps

I just refilled it the next morning and kept driving it. Engine coolant temp never got above 215 though. That happened about 4k miles ago and it hasn’t happened since. @@leoluvsdodge I’m running Proven Tuning. It is a night and day difference over Chaos on the transmission. Hit up Steven Krall on Facebook and he’ll set you up. Trust me, it will save your trans. I have EZ Lynk and able to view shift flare on each shift and Chaos was all over the place. It is minimal to zero with Proven

      @@dr.bowdoin3067 if you can’t see your shift flare rpm on each shift, you may think it’s ok with no issues and not know you’re slowly killing the trans. To be safe, I’d get a monitor to get it for peace of mind

    Unreliable not good motors compared to the 7.3 power strokes

      The bottom end of a 7.3 will only hold 500 hp before bowing apart. Sure they’re reliable in stock form but almost any engine is when it only makes 200hp.. this truck has over 150,000 miles on it making 50+ lbs of boost and 650-700hp and still hasn’t had a single issue so I’m not sure how or why you think a 7.3 is still better. 🤷🏻‍♂️

      @@leoluvsdodge I’m just saying those don’t sound as good as like the l5p duramax and stuff that’s a lot better just saying will outstand the power stroke
