I live in Canada, and my company was Canadian and dealt only with Canadians, and I'll tell you, if you ever want to make someone lose all belief in the "polite Canadian" stereotype, have them listen to a tech support call from a Canadian whose internet has been out for 20+ minutes. My next job dealing with Americans regarding rebates - and often having to tell them they were denied, or tell them that they weren't getting as much money as they thought they were, or that the money they thought was going to be "sent directly to pay their previous phone provider" was actually being given to them as a gift card to be used toward their phone bill, and they were still expected to pay off their previous provider, etc. - was infinitely more cordial in comparison. Seriously, far less people yelling at me over them being out potentially hundreds of dollars than over being without internet for a short period of time.

If you are hearing about a job field for the first time, and its very abstract from anything you've ever heard of, its normal to ask a lot of questions, especially coming from the corporate world. Realistically it's kinda sad that vtuber concerts are a thing people pay, where concerts itself like a absurd thing that u pay when u can just get some better headphones or speaker listen to them in your room.
I think it's more so for meeting and partying with other fans. Like say your a fan of one music artist that none of your friends know, but then at a concert, you meet have fun with people with similar taste. Hits different
I used to be of the same mindset, and still sort of am. I went to a concert as a kid and didn't understand why people did it. I have bought a few online tickets to Hololive concerts though. It requires a sort of attachment to the talent to make sense, and it is aboot having a special event as well. I like the foo fighter's music, but I have no attachment to the band and am not a fan per se. But with Hololive I really like several of the talents, I watched them grow since 2019 and there is an attachment and desire to support them and see the special planned events. But I can't think of any other band or talent that I would pay to see a show. So for people like you and I where we don't get attached to people/bands too often, concerts don't make much sense.
