Solar AB1.6S review....my first Evertune and Why You should buy a B stock

- For a while now I've been wanting to try an Evertune bridge. Solar guitars is one of the few company's that has a huge line up Evertune equipped guitars from 6-7 even 8 string models the choices are endless. I was undecided between a 6 or 7 string but with me already having a new "T" series 7 string on order I decided to go with a 6. The AB1.6S is a jammed packed guitar when it comes to specs between the Evertune bridge, locking tuners, lumenlay side dots and a 3 piece roasted maple neck. If you follow Solar guitars you may have heard about the ongoing QC issues while it does detour a lot of potential customers I have faith that it will get better. On solars website there is an outlet section and a B stock section where they offer guitars at a discounted price for various reasons from paint issues to bad fretwork and so on. The fact that they provide pictures of all the B stocks you will know exactly what to expect when you get it. so are you better off getting a B stock ? find out what my thoughts are in this video!

With Evertune Solars, a b stock mostly comes to be because people don't want to learn how to use the Evertune, so a B stock is often good. I avoid it on other guitars with more standardized hardware though. There's usually a reason why something gets sent back, and that's not worth the 50 bucks you can save...especially with Thomann not providing information or photos

Does Evertune makes the guitar heavy to your back? "in weight"?
Not at all theres a alot of wood taken out to fit the evertune system so id say it equals out
I am not against buying B stock. But it is always somewhat of a gamble. And sometimes the price difference isn't even that much. I think its a case to case kind of thing.
Yea i agree i really study the pictures on my computer screen and i stay away from certain issues paint defects i don’t mind but anything structural or fret issues i stay away from. I have 2 b stocks and u cant even see the issues honestly
