Best thing about this rack is its colour. I have a white Transalp and the silver rack does not suit the bike…see the 2024 Africa Twin 1100l…black rack.
Handmade premium quality products that are not industrial made are more expensive. Imagine this guy it's making them by himself in his workshop, have you read the product's features?

Protection is from the engine guards and pillion footpegs that will take the shock

Seem like a complete waste of money to me when you have a perfectly serviceable part from Honda.
Weight saving very worthwhile.
If you fill the transalp petrol tank only to 10 Litres instead of 16.9 , we save 5kg.
