    Canada has, for decades, been in the top 10 of safest and least racist countries on planet Earth. Plus prosperous. Now there is a new negative spin that most Canadians do NOT deserve to a high degree. People must look at both sides.
    Since 2020, international students have been flocking to a educational system that many Canadians now feel was used by many of them as a loophole-to-immigration. Students utilizing schooling as a back-door (not front-door) ticket to living in Canada. Swarming a 50+ year tradition/system that was not not NOT designed to be about EVERY international student INSISTING on receiving Permanent Residency. Plus it was not designed to be primarily about students demanding lengthy work permits (& spouse permits etc.). Canadians have clued in that Canada's post secondary education system has (in 5 years time) turned into what many are now jokingly calling EDUGRATION. An extreme not approved by everyday Canadians.
    What about Ghost Consulting that Canada told India to halt? Canadians want foreign $ greedy agents to stop marketing & lying to their own people about access to PR or citizenship … or accommodation/jobs … in places like Canada being relatively easy. At best there is a 20% chance of PR (better odds if their career is in HIGH demand).
    And what about all the YT videos that primarily Indian nationals have posted (for half a decade now including today) all advertising Canadian PR like they're selling a product? Advertising Canadian visas & permits & schools & jobs etc. etc.. Videos not only posted hourly but also 99% not in English or French. With very very rare input from Canadian-born citizens.
    Plus Canada didn't have numerous PRIVATE 'diploma mills' until 40% of international students were from India. Coincidence? Mills that Canada is shutting down. AND the bulk of them are near Brampton Ontario and Surrey B.C.. Coincidence? Canada is now compelling ALL schools to report to Immigration whether a student is attending school and complying with permit requirements or not. Were Canadian public colleges & universities greedy too (while honest)? Sure. But the Canadian government stepped in and slowed them down too (like a trustworthy government should).
    Are most international students truly scholars who came to Canada with enough $ to support themselves while STUDYING? Or economic migrants, who borrowed $ to buy their way closer to the head of the immigration line? To say all the students or their consultants back home have not been at times 'gaming' Canada's education programs to gain western PR or $ is ridiculous. Students have contributed to Canada's housing CRISIS and lack of entry jobs because 96% conspire-to-outstay a temporary permit.
    Canada wants to help people, but not when it contributes to home unaffordability and a recession. If 36,000,000 Canadians travelled to India, since 2020, with the goal of being able to stay there permanently, that would raise India's population by 2.65%. Recent asylum seekers crossing into Canada… and international students... have raised Canada's population higher than 2.65%. More needing healthcare too (affecting waiting times etc.).
    What about the IELTS spouses? Anchor babies? Fraud? False asylum claims? What about Canadian food banks & other charity services being recklessly advertised on YT in Indian languages? What about Canadian housing being scooped up en-mass as investment vehicles by/for internationals? Home rental/boarding signs stating "vegetarians only can apply". Indian nationals buying local businesses then putting Indians only in key positions (while also drastically changing work practices that include working more hours for less money). Plus BC & Ontario are outlawing the Caste System.
    Then throw in the Sikh vs Hindu violence/extortions across Canada. Diasporas stirring up tribal hatreds (in Canada) … even though it all stems from their ancestral home. How can peace be found anywhere with this in play? Plus the Canadian government recently launched investigations in regards to foreign interference in Canadian elections, stemming from Asia continent. Canada also had to end flagpoling at the border.
    In recent years, Canadians everyday are having to worry about their automobile being stolen by auto theft rings. For just one example of what Canadians see regarding this new concern, research; "arrests in connection with $9.24M Toronto-area auto theft ring". In addition research; "Gold stolen in Canada's biggest ever heist ended up in India". Plus credit card fraud schemes and major scams involving foreign call centres.
    Canadians are so so so not used to all this. So many, who have embraced multi-culturalism and immigration for decades are now worried/fearful. All are praying it doesn't turn into anger. Canadians want multi-culturism to succeed and for all people (including immigrants) to be okay. Everyone I know is VERY happy with IRCC's recent changes (reductions & multifaceted investigations etc.). Including multi-generational long-term Asian Canadians MOST upset (by all of this).
    Canadians are aware that some wonderful students/humans are going through hell. And know Canada is partially to blame which is awful. But Canada decides what needs to be done in Canada to prevent further pains. Do you see Canadians protesting in other countries (that is not their own) making demands for themselves? No. Do Canadians now see primarily Indians protesting in Canada making demands? Yes. Protesting because they don't have the credentials to stay in Canada. And because rules designed to protect CANADA are not meeting their desires/demands. And why isn't there large crowds of African or Caribbean or Filipino etc., students protesting & waving their flags? They're in Canada too.
    Did international students and their families pay into Canadian taxes ALL their lives like domestic students have (earning cheaper tuition fees)? No.
    Did Canada force internationals to move to Canada as a STUDENT? No.
    Did Canada promise/guarantee PR? Or a job? No & no.
    Yet do they only blame Canada when they can't get PR??

      Indeed! I'm an international student from Kazakhstan, and I was sent to Canada from my employer for an energy program which is not available in our country or EU. But apparently, the quality of the program has not been changed for a decade because it was popular amongst int. Students and there's no need for them to make the program more competitive and match the course content to the current industry landscape. So I'm quite upset and I submitted my report to my company to stop ALL corporate training programs in Canada and better to switch to the UK rather than relying on the Canadian education system.
      OFC I noted huge disproportion when it comes to the diversity of students, why Canada is so much focused on south Asia? There must be an explanation

    The entire fiasco would be solved if Canada simply put a cap on each country.
    Canadians are having a problem with *certain* nationalities, we all know who they are.
    STAT: Just 1% of that country's population is 14 million. Thats more than some European countries COMBINED!
    Putting a cap will ensure every country is represented equally and a fairer market exists.
    Right now certain countries are way too over-represented, leading to the local communities being overwhelmed, not just in resources like housing, but also culturally.
    Foreigners are expected to assimilate with Canadian culture & society, NOT bring their own cultures and refuse to let them go, rather overbearing it on the local communities!

      @rrdancel  20 дней назад +2

      Personal information is generally considered private information. A private citizen should have a reasonable expectation that their personal information is protected and not released to third parties without consent. Institutions like schools, medical offices, or government agents have an obligation to protect such personal information. As such, your school records and medical records are considered private information.

    Well, I agree with these policy changes. Now Canada has many international "students" who aren't studying and the big ones are from India. It is funny to see those folks not attending class and expecting to pass the course, they proceeded to harass the professors, making ridiculous complaints.

  • @liujun050612
    @liujun050612 29 дней назад +2

    All these policies should be implemented at the start. For all study permit visas and holders, your intention are to study, not to work or stay after you graduate. DLIs have the responsibility to constantly check student's status and report to the student and IRCC if they are not following the student visa rules. If you have been to the states, the study visa rules are even more harsh. You are not even allowed to work off campus during your study. If you are been caught not going to class, work outside school, take fewer credits than full time, failing multiple courses and below minimum GPA, have fewer funds to support your study, first you will be warned and change immediately. If you don't do anything, USCIS authorized school to terminate your study status immediately, not even have to reach to USCIS. Even you appeal, your case will most likely rejected by USCIS. For school transfer, you definitely need a new study visa. Because you have to explain why you want to change your school, also make sure you have enough funds for the new school. These should be the same for IRCC.

    For point #4-- I hope that IRCC will implement this ONLY for those students transferring to a different DLI in another province. If they are just concerned on the balance of study permit allocations among provinces-- then this is the most reasonable thing to do instead of requiring ALL students wishing to change DLIs (within the same province) to apply for a new study permit. I hope that the POF is waived as well.

    • @rrdancel
      @rrdancel  Месяц назад

      I think IRCC received complaints from schools that a student will transfer out of. These schools will lose an allocation spot and thus revenue they could have earned from that student. No, I didn’t order GCMS notes. I only inquire to a licensed consultant from canada. And I re apply my application. Also I responded the refusal letter and hopefully I meet all the required needs of visa officer and approved my visa application so that I will take this coming fall semester.

    There's plenty of way to go to canada and apply for PR
    1. Get LMIA and apply for work permit
    2. Get work experience and apply for provincial nominee worker program.
    3. Apply for a common law.
    4. Apply for Humanitarian compassionate program.
    You don't have to pay thousand of dollars to study.

      So you are admitting that this whole international student program is about a back door entry in to Canada. I hope immigration minister Mark Miller reads your comment and close all the loopholes that you are recommending.

    • @rrdancel
      @rrdancel  Месяц назад

      @@lovepageantry6325The reason I asked is because the options you mentioned have varying challenges and costs. For instance, the H&C application is extremely difficult to get approved and takes quite a bit of time to process. There are many factors in that H&C application that most applicants would not be able satisfy. On top of that, there is an extremely low approval percentage as the H&C application is reserved for the extremely rare cases that are deserving of this exception.

      @@huhujojo1968What do you mean by “back door”? Do you mean that there is some sort of loop hole in the immigration system that international students can obtain permanent residency?

  • @jay1645

    The system needs a massive cleanup as had turned into a $$$ making racket for all the vested interests lol resulting in all kinds of problems
