IM SO COOOKED. I dont have a strong background for extracuricular activities :/ I have community service hours, work experience and I have some little recognitions in English contests and participation in Theater (it is not related to my field of interest), and that is about it. The application for undergrads is already in September :( There is not much I can do rn for extracurriculars. This makes me feel very conflicted, tbh. Growing up I never had too much opportunities to engage in a bunch of activities due to money and time. I do have good grades, a very strong GPA. I also speak English fluently, and I hope to have a great score in IELTS. I think my forte is the essay and the study plan.
I can relate with the situation …in india honestly we don’t get much opportunities for extracurriculars but that’s what you have to struggle and find … but yaa the time is limited …you should have started early….try to find ngos and communities near you and make contacts as much as possible…hoping for the best 💕
@@jannatshreya honestly preparing for IELTS and getting all the papers for the application of the scholarship is so time consuming already. And the reason I didn't have much time to prepare extra curriculars is because I was attending University classes. Yet, due to my experience studying here, I have realized how underdeveloped my field of interest is in my homecountry.....I don't believe there is even an industry to look forward to here. I'm really hoping the GKS scholarship gives me the opportunity to study my fuild of interest to its full extent. Thanks for the video and for answering 💕

Korea I want to also study Design but focused on media, and visual communication. That is what I was hoping to learn in my homecountry but I have seen the work of senior students at my homecountry University, and they are not involved with that :(

Okay … just write little but really specific about all the unis …but focus more on your dream uni ….thats what I did … For the work experience, go to the authorities of where you worked ..and ask them to give the recommendation letter …that’s what companies give to their employees or interns

In embassy track should we prepare separate study plan for all 3 universities targeting each of them because as you mentioned it would be impressive if we do research about our major related professor and their area of research, but I'm a little confused regarding this part. i come from south indian here we what they do is they combine 11th and 12th marks together:) in 11th I got 214/470 in 12th I got 341/470 now they combined both the marks so I got 560! now my marks as a percentage for 11th i have 45% and 12th I got 72% i even have few extra certificates and all do I have a chance to get this scholarship bro? i want to apply through embassy track

Like mentioning about the research work of professors. I need your suggestion. I'm running a canteen business in my own college and also working in a company. @@Nan_307 go for uni track …I have mentioned in the video that the extracurriculars are really important and should be really great … I firmly feel that just quizzes and sketches and things like that is not at all enough if it’s not that great (for embassy track) …also since ur gpa is quite less so you need to build a much much more stronger extracurricular….also related to ur major … Hope you take these into consideration and all the best 💕
Hello, I have a query regarding the apostille document. I need to submit three photocopies of it for the embassy track. Should the photocopies include both the front and back with the stamp, or is it enough to have only the front?
@@jannatshreya I mean the apostilled document have stamp on the back of the page right...as for embassy track we have to submit 1 apostile and 3 photocopies...so if I'm photocopying the apostile document the front page which is like the actual document photocopy is enough or the back side of the document which has stamp it should be photocopy too???

No then u have to apply for GKS 2026 and your profile seems good to me so try SNU and even embassy track is good …since there are 3 unis For masters you can apply to top unis also through university track but not for undergraduate

Internships are possible … you just need to build a network … Also write a research proposal as you gave plenty of time … You can also write essays related to your research proposals and submit them in newspapers or magazines Also my 2nd major was gonna be psychology initially so I had done these … I had also published a book on my research proposal … Also participate in bigger competitions like international ones related to ur field or essays

Can I simply attach the digital copy without apostille? Additionally, is a birth certificate sufficient proof of family relationship?

For the work experience, go to the authorities of where you worked ..and ask them to give the recommendation letter …that’s what companies give to their employees or interns

In embassy track should we prepare separate study plan for all 3 universities targeting each of them because as you mentioned it would be impressive if we do research about our major related professor and their area of research, but I'm a little confused regarding this part. Should I prepare 4 separate study plan one for embassy, other 3 for target universities?
@@twinklesharma1067 no you have to incorporate everything in one essay only …what I did was to write little specific things about all three unis but focused more on my main choice
i come from south indian here we what they do is they combine 11th and 12th marks together:)
in 11th I got 214/470
in 12th I got 341/470
now they combined both the marks so I got 560!
now my marks as a percentage for 11th i have 45% and 12th I got 72% i even have few extra certificates and all do I have a chance to get this scholarship bro?

@@Nan_307 go for uni track …I have mentioned in the video that the extracurriculars are really important and should be really great … I firmly feel that just quizzes and sketches and things like that is not at all enough if it’s not that great (for embassy track) …also since ur gpa is quite less so you need to build a much much more stronger extracurricular….also related to ur major …
