The Netherlands was among the 11 nations involved in the Boxer Rebellion, yet there is no Dutch version of this song. Given the linguistic similarities between Dutch and German, I decided to put Netherlands in the German version.

What would happen if your nation is weak?
This.
What would happen if the regime is disconnected from the people?
This.
What would happen if lives are taken no more than pennies in the hands of dictators?
This.
What would happen if we still cloud our view with a past too heavy, too glorious for today's peoples to bear?
This.
If these burnings and killings marked a dent in our pride, the dent is well put. To move forward, this nation has to learn from its past. To escape the dynastic cycles of endless starvation and hopeless tomorrows, another way has to be found to bring salvation. Even if it meant more bloodshed momentarily.
If the ruling pigs wish to strip us of our morality and culture to confound us, we will safekeep it ourselves. If the interventions desire our extinction, we will persevere. Even if we only have a faraway dream, about which the most of us intentionally ignore because we fear for our lives.
To the people that stumbled upon this, that felt sadness instead of a light amusement at a giant's decay, stay strong. Much blood was spilt to learn every lesson in history. In this current age, all we can do is to understand who we are, and keep it.
