How many of us coached a NFL team ? I’m not saying that Payton is the greatest coach that ever lived, but he is proven. Trust the process !

Vic Fangio’s failure as a head coach had nothing to do with whether he was in the booth or not.
It was because he completely ignored offense and special teams. He only wanted to be a defensive coordinator.
He got his wish. He’s just a defensive coordinator now.

Mr. Payton has already laid the cards out, Bo Nix must start, game #1 due to Payton's logic. I believe the QB "contest" is to prepare #2 and #3 to rise to the new plan and use it to their advantage.

Broncos are in for a wake-up!😮WAKEUP! A rookie team, even the semi rookie team, will be better. The defense is gonna be lost. The offense will look out of rythem even if looks good in camp. Unless they catch on fast, Sorry, yall, but it is not going to be the best of seasons this year. A rookie team definitely not going to oust a vet team unless they have no talent.
What was the point in saying any of this? Not one single realistic fan is saying this is going to be a great season. There is hope and optimism because we have a stockpile of young talent. Defense might not be as bad as you think. Sean Payton won 8 games with a QB that couldn’t pass from the pocket…. We are much better off now!

I don't think anyone believes it was some amazing evaluation from Payton. He was the last first round QB period. Nobody is going to look to the Broncos model
That’s a dull opinion….. we can assume Caleb and Daniel’s were one and two on the Broncos draft board. Maye wasn’t on the Broncos radar. They could have easily moved to get JJ. That leaves Nix as there 3rd ranked QB. Oakland would have taking Nix…. The Rams were attempting to move up to get Nix.
Yes coaching from the booth is going to make trash quarterbacks good.
