Lol, they're basically the same characters. Law of averages pretty much makes them even because while Lucina can't tip her kill power is more consistent cause you don't have to sweet spot against fast characters who can get in quick on you or compete with your aerials. They should be in the same spot, just like other clones.

Nairo's Lucina lost neutral in game 3 and 4, primarily because ZeRo adjusted and started using fair to beat out Lucina's jump - sh fair.
Diddy's fair comes out waaay faster than Luci's.
However, Marth/Lucina's Ftilt beats out any aerial approach option Diddy has in every way. Nairo may have started trying to use it more by the last game, but it was too late.
Nairo could have done it, it was an amazing attempt.
Also, Marth is high tier, not top. Lucina is mid tier.

This may be slightly unrelated to what you're saying, but Nairo has stated in his streams he prefers Lucina to Marth just because he likes how Lucina strings hits together more while with Marth there's a chance a random tipper will send them flying away.
Basically, Nairo likes doing with Lucina that combo he did to ZeRo on Duck Hunt rather than Marth's tippers.

Quick back shield break not fully charged can break shields easily if you do like an up-air to diddy when he's on the ground before, i think he should have tried that.

As one of the 4 Lucina mains in the world, this did indeed have me squealing like a child
What few realize is that, while Marth has better offensive ability, Lucina has more options, as she is more versatile with her Dancing Blade.

nairo needs an answer to diddy kong, zeRo suit loses that matchup, diddy has too many options and all it takes is one bad grab attempt, he either needs to bring out his own diddy that he only used way back when on dabuz and vinnie, use cloud, sheik, or use mario who do better against him, its embarrassing at this point that hes not realizing zeRos iddy is no joke, he also lost to zinotos diddy, its obvious he needs ot pick someone else up, even his dark pit would do better

Nairo didn't "carry the character". Lucina IS a solid high tier character.
If she were a solid high tier we'd see more of her but in retrospect she still has many bad matchups that require fundamentals or experience in order to get through them

I played the MU myself. It isnt that bad. I think if Nairo fights him again he'll have a better shot.
IMO the match up is even or in Lucy"s favor by a little bit. It was a better choice than ZSS
ZeRo admits that he hasn't completely figured out the Marth/Lucina matchup yet. But he recently won his rematch with Mr. E at Shine and has now beaten Nairo's surprise Lucina here. Nairo can get better with the character, but he won't ever have the surprise factor again (which was a big contributor in winning game 2 here) and ZeRo will only figure out the matchup more, if he hasn't (seemingly) figured out most of it already. We'll see at The Big House.
