Fox is diddy's worst MU at 45:65 Rosa is at worst 40:60 at best even Mario is even Sonic is 55:45 and Cloud is 60:40 these are all from personal experice. what you have to really look at is the MU spread of those characters compared to diddy. Diddy's MU spread is really good only losing at most 4 MU (Fox,Sheik,Rosa,Olimar slightly) while only Sonic and Rosa come close to that consistency, they have those few hard counter pick MU that really require them get a lead (Mario and MK respectfully).
3:38 - He DI'd in because he was thinking Ally was gonna forward throw, so Ally could've up b'd and I'm pretty sure it would've killed because it was at the very edge so he would've died from the top or bottom. Hopefully next time he sees that in that situation. He had that game.
he's objectively the weakest iteration of fox, funny enough. he's essentially brawl fox with worse frame data. really the only jank things about fox are fair footstool and the hitbox on his up air being the size of a planet. otherwise, i think he's the most polarizing top tier character, which is good for game balance. He's light and a fast faller leading to earlier stock losses if played incorrectly and his recovery, while long distanced, is really easy to intercept, and his throws are mostly sucky. but he's got really good frame data despite having been nerfed from brawl, has excellent and consistent kill set-ups, kill moves with relatively good startup (u-smash, uair.) can camp and anti camp.
lol broken? Save that for Ryu, Bayo and Sheik. Fox is nowhere near broken. He's so small, needs to approach and is so lightweight that he can be killed by a smash at 70%, he has one of the easiest recoveries to gimp in the game also. The only thing is his Utilt which imo Kirby has a more broken one since it goes into a full set of combos. Fox's Utilt pretty much goes into Bair and Uair
