Hank died in the arms of the only one who loved him and the face he made when Connor was crying and when he was about to die showed that he was pleased that Connor really cared about hank and would probably go on a murderous rampage if it meant bringing him back.
"Ready As I'll Ever Be" is such a good song for the story. I'm trying to fit the character's parts into actual characters. (Oh my fucking God I forgot Kara, that's why this was so hard) My idea would be that the first one (Varian) would be Machine Connor instead of Markus. The female who talks to Connor could be Amanda, or we can just say fuck the voice and make it Hank. Hank makes the most sense despite a female being the one to talk to Connor. The second one (Cassandra) can definitely still be North, that fits her so well, but it would have to be after Markus has died. (In the concept of the actual song's plot, the leader of the guard had gotten injured or has fallen in. His most trusted guard [His adopted daughter Cassandra] to lead. So she sings about leading the guard without her father] So this is why it makes sense for Markus to have died, sadly. The third one, which you did not hear because the creator only used half of the song. (It's Rapunzel. This song is from the Tangled Series btw. I don't watch it, but it's a really good song x'D) Kara could totally sing this one. Despite her lack of involvement in Markus and Connor's story, she could fit in here. A male talks to her, that could be Luther. L: Are you quite sure we can do this? K: Together we will guarantee. (Fits woop) Then the last stretch is all the guards singing and each main character singing a line to what they're fighting for. Androids/Jericho can totally sing the background lines. Then the main character says MC: I'll make them hear me. N: Prove they can trust me. K: I'll save my home and family. Perfect. God, I love this idea so much ;-; I need someone to make this lmao. I'm sadly not an animator. P.S. I'm sorry for the length of this x'D
I got an idea sort of inspired by this but a bit different, and I just wanted to ask - if I ended up wanting to animate it in the future, you okay if I draw some inspiration from this? :) Mainly concerning the machine connor part, although my idea also mixes up bits of what you have here (like Kara's involvement!)
