this vectra came with the x20, which is an updated version of the c20 but without the famous cosworth head

No its a C20XE.. developed for German STW by Spiess in Germany and for UK BTCC by Swindon in UK. In 1999 around 320 HP and in later years up to 330 HP @ 8500 RPM. Very special on this engine is the reverse head for better air intake and also exhaust flow.
