I've got no idea I bought the radio for music and rear camera display capability I didn't even know the factory had such options you'd have to check with manufacturer 🙂

I believe they do because when I get calls I just answer them and talk through the radio so I believe it does 😄

I have seen the ambient lighting and footwell mods you have done to your polo, and I'm thinking of doing the same I'm getting a 2010 polo soon, but I'm wondering does this affect the battery of the car?
Or have you run into any problems having these mods installed? And any trouble with the police since I have heard of people getting pulled over for having the lights in, and them getting points on their license.
That sounds like a good shout the polo is a lovely car wiring accessories properly doesn't affect your car only when you wire things incorrectly can you drain the battery or end up damaging your car. I'm an ex Engineer and fixing and wiring things is my trade and to wire up some ambient lights or other accessories is a simple enough thing I believe anyone can do. I have created my videos in a step by step basics were I hope anyone that has a know how about DIY or is new at DIY can follow
I've not heard of anything like that I'm pretty sure those individuals would have been doing something illegal ambient lights are now a common feature in a lot of cars and so are footwell lights hope that helps

One last question with hardwiring of the lights, are you able to switch them off and on as you please, or does the led lights themselves come with a switch?

What plate is your polo as there seems to be a lot of different style units but this one matches mine

Very simple fit and an excellent upgrade. It drags your VW up a generation or two. Did you ever fit a reversing camera. (That doesn’t seem too difficult either.)

The original Radio of my Polo has a „Car“ Button, where I can see informations about the driving style or general informations about my car. Can I still use those functions with the RCD330?
I've got no idea I never used those functions on my old stock radio 🤷♂️
Hi, i am willing to buy a similar radio. My old one is similar to the first one in the video. It was not meant to have those informations ( driving style and stuff ) so i don't think they will work. But in your case you already had those functions so i think they will work with the rcd330 as well. Let me know if you already intstalled it and if it works!

So far my review on the radio is it's brilliant because it's touchscreen and the audio quality it puts out is better than the factory
I've not had any problems with it my only qualm is that I don't have a reverse camera installed on it yet but I will be installing it soon
My Polo doesn't have steering wheel controls but judging by what the radio can do I would guess that it probably can
do this work if the car has parking sensors and also do you need to keep phone plugged in for Bluetooth? Also how would you get waze navigation on this?
I don't know my car doesn't have parking sensors but as far as I am are the parking sensors aren't controlled by the radio. The Bluetooth doesn't need the phone to be plugged in and I don't know how you would yet waze on this I use Google maps but you could always use waze on the phone and connect to the radio using Bluetooth hope that helps

Have you got an installing on how to install flip camera
I don't have one but I know you can install one to the polo I'm releasing a how to install a reverse camera to this radio unit and similar radios soon the camera I bought it super easy to install 😊

It's the same shade as the buttons 😊

My polo is a 2012 and the camera doesn't come with the car I bought that separately I'm hoping to make a video of installing it soon 😅

I'm not sure if there's one with a CD as well or well with this configuration I did see ones that have a different look than these ones that do on Ebay though 😊
Will this fit to a passat b7? And will the optical parking sensor display still show
I am not a 100% sure if you click the link for the radio it will take you to Ebay on Ebay it will let you know if its compatible I am almost pretty sure I've seen others installing these in the VW Passat not sure what the difference between that and a B7 is so can't say

You mean the adapter to connect the radio onto the wiring? I'd message the supplier and make them aware there is no way you can pay that price and not receive the adapter the radio is supposed to come with let me know how you get on 😊
I have installed a RCD330 stereo on my polo 2011 with car play. I had no issues for the past 8 months. But right now when i take out the initiation ket the red lights on the bottoms of the stereo stays on? Anyone knows how to fix this issue please?
I've not had the issue myself but it's unfortunate because eight months isn't the longest time without doing checks on the fault myself I couldn't say what it is exactly or how to fix it but it could either be the radio is faulty or something is loose for the wiring harness try disconnecting that cleaning it if you see any corrosion and then plugging it back in
@@The_journeyy that solved the problem. Btw do you know where can i get front side wings (silver colour) and front bumper for cheap with good condition? I cant find a original used side wings in silver colour mostly they sell it in black, but to re spray and everything is more costly…
That's not an RCD330 it's a clone. Anyway as long as it works. That cable you called useless is the radio antenna. Can you confirm whether you get an AM/FM reception at all with this set up? Thanks :)

No I've not had any issues with battery drain you shouldn't have a car radio draining your battery ify you do I'd check your wiring or the compatibility of the radio your trying to install this radio is a vw aftermarket radio its designed for my car
U need to change ur Gateway with new model who support this rcd 330 so it work optimized, if ur under 2008 it wont work as well and it will leave ur battery empty.
I use it on golf volkswagen mk 5 2006 Goal, and i change gateway and it work great, 2 week no start up and no battery problem after change .

does the song tittle appear on the instrument LCD?
The name of the artist and song comes up among many other cool features the radio has got it also sounds better with the speakers than the previous radio 😊
@@The_journeyy I believe he's asking if the head unit links to the dashboard LCD instrument cluster in front of the steering wheel in between the speedo and tach, to display the radio data (ie: song title). Is that the case?

I think the harness must have a signal cable for the reverse camera or parking sensors even if you've have not paid to have them installed on the car the radio can then tell from that signal when you engage reverse
That’s not an RCD 330 it’s a fake, where’s the AUX port, the mic? They’re both missing
