About:
Nomad is the name of several fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The Nomad name and costume were created by writer Steve Englehart and artist Sal Buscema as an alternate identity for the original Captain America, Steve Rogers, in Captain America #180 (December 1974). The identity was revived by writer J. M. DeMatteis for a minor character named Edward Ferbel in Captain America #261-263 (September - November 1981). The same writer later gave the title to its best known claimant Jack Monroe in Captain America #282 (June 1983). Other claimants of the code name are Rikki Barnes and Steve Rogers's adopted son Ian Rogers. he original Nomad is an alternate identity that Steve Rogers adopts after he abandons the Captain America costume and title.
In Captain America #180 (December 1974) Rogers becomes disillusioned with the United States government, when he discovers that a high ranking government official (heavily hinted to be the then President of the United States Richard Nixon) is the leader of the terrorist organization known as the Secret Empire. Rogers then decides to abandon his Captain America identity, feeling that he cannot continue to serve America after this latest discovery has shattered his faith in the nation's status. However, a confrontation with Hawkeye (disguised as the Golden Archer) forces Rogers to realize that he cannot abandon a life of heroism, and he subsequently takes on the name "Nomad" (as it means "man without a country") adopting a new dark blue and yellow uniform with no patriotic markings on it at all.

In the comics, Steve Rogers is Nomad. If MCU will make Nomad movie, I would love to see Chris Evans, Steve Rogers as Nomad.

@@nomad_0036Steve Rogers is the original Nomad. I believe Steve Rogers as Nomad lasted not that long because Steve Rogers returns as Captain America again in the comics. The other Nomad are just the second authors' experiment assigning Nomad to other characters.

Chris Evans nomad time is him returning the stones, gets into major altercations. Because he has to return the stones, he has to keep moving on. That's what a nomad does. I know this a simple explanation.
Exactly what I was thinking. And when Kang mentions "the one with the hammer" he means cap cause the time traveling suit looks similar and something weird happened and he THOUGHT he killed him but we see in the show how he got away

Chris Evan’s is the only CAP that should be suited for the role. He needs to take his shield back from falcon and tell his story from when he returned to 1943….
I think the new falcon movie actually looks pretty cool. I won't give up til I see the movie. A nomad buckie film would be very sick as well.

@SCVM45 Bucky already has the Wakanda storyline with White Wolf. Better if Rogers returns as nomad, Falcon holds the mantle as Captain America and possibly gives it back on his own terms even in case of death.
@AnthonyMichael504 but when captain returned to Peggy, he had to stay hidden. This doesn't work. With marvel in disarray from planning around trying to bypass Kang now though, it won't shock me if they bring evans back as a hero for star power or civil war 2 to face off against doom.
A combination of ideas for the Nomad character would rock. Start with Steve, go to Bucky, then Jack Monroe maybe even Johnny Walker... It'd be fantastic.
No let's see Cap as Nomad team up with Wolverine as was alluded to in a Captain America comic I think it was years ago when Cap sees Wolverine s skeleton in a holding tank and talked to the skeleton saying they had a wid adventure together back in the WWII days

I would like to see the Steve Rogers version. It is my opinion that Steve Rogers and Tiny Stark departed too soon. They are the lunch ones for the MCU . Bring them back , and make a smoother transition to other A list characters over time.

I dont think Steve Rogers would have gone the rest of his life not being a hero. And since he couldn't keep being Cap, Nomad sounds pretty cool too. Also, you know that SR has super swimmers and he an Agent Carter probably had a bunch of enhanced offspring. Think of the possibilities of all the mutated descendants of the first and only super soldier (that didnt go nuts). This idea opens all kinds of interesting stories.
I fully agree in the comics this has happened so there's no reason why It can't happen in future Marvel movies or TV shows
Since there would have been 2 Caps on other that universe's time line after he returned the gems, maybe he used the Nomad role to course correct the other universe before Thanos could destroy it.

Bucky is the nomad. The Captain America and Winter Soldier series only Sam was given the new title as captain america hence the series' title but Bucky did not get a new identity or title even tho they both somehow changed

I'm rooting for an Ian Rogers version of Nomad with Steve and Peggy being the MCU parents. With people jumping around multiple timelines all the time these day it should be easy to set up.
Honestly my first thought is nomad being the identity Steve takes up when he goes back in time, during end game they even explained how doing the wrong things could potentially create an alternate time line. This way he could continue being involved in the world without disturbing the timeline with his captain America persona.
No. Nomad exists because Roger's was completely disillusioned and disappointed in what the country was becoming, so he felt he could no longer be the symbol of a country he no longer believed in.

My favourite era was the Captain, Falcon, Nomad, Demolition Man, and Vagabond working together against the Serpent Society. Vagabond was pretty useless but I'd take Mockingbird or a version of the Vamp instead.

There is no way Disney is interested in using this IP name that generates buzz before they ever planned the project on a white male actor. They are going to use it, like they did Ronins costume identity from Hawkeye to lift up some completely different lame female or other diverse kind of hero whose comics have never sold and who nobody is interested in.
Best case scenario they are taking Steve's arc and giving it to Sam Wilson. But my moneys on it being used for Diamondback or 'Ruth' after the Sam Wilson America film comes out. Whichever actress that movie props up more to groom for a spinoff series
