@@maxmustermann369 I doubt he’ll get an Aston seat this year. They have Seb, who brings a lot to the team with his experience and skill. And then there’s Lance.
When I was a kid, Heidfeld was my 3rd favorite driver (after Raikkonen and Alonso) and the fact that he never managed to win a race makes me really sad. But, on the bright side, Hulkenberg finally made it to top 3! BTW, I had no doubt about who would top the list. That man is a fucking legend.
Interesting how many have scored their first win around the 110-115 range... It doesn't feel accidental. I suppose that's how many races the average F1 driver needs to get into a race-winning capable seat. Also, holy hell, Perez almost reached the top before his first win... it doesn't feel like he's been in the game for that long.
FYI: Michael Schumacher had raced against both Alain Prost (who in turn had raced against Niki Lauda back in the early 80s) and Sergio "Checo" Pérez who still race today. Crazy how long Schumi's career spanned.
Stroll will be the no1 with ease.. He's only 23 and already at 101 starts. So basically halfway. He won't get sacked, ever; but he's never going to win a race.. Going to end with 370 GPs; 4 podiums; 0 wins.
I was expecting Chris Amon's name in that list. But, back in his career, there were only 9 to 11 races a season; unlike the 15 ~ 20+ races a season in the generations after Amon's retirement. Amon was branded as being the unlucky F1 driver for not having won a points counting race; but, decades later Amon said that as a F1 driver, he was lucky . . . lucky to have survived into old age. The short F1 seasons from a half-century ago was great for spectators, in that the F1 drivers could be seen in sports car races in the same calendar year.
I still dont know how someone with 208 starts could constantly be such a menace on track to everyone around them. Boy did james love to take the piss on old andrea lol and rightfully deserved imo
Poor Hülkenberg is close to the top in almost every "most GP's without X" list. He easily tops the "most GP's without a podium", having only been 4th at best in his 182 attempts.
Perez - what a story! Longest tally before first win. Brundle - goes to show he was valued to race so long without a win. Heidfeld and Hulkenberg really should have got a win. Sainz will disappear from this list shortly (surely?) and Grosjean… maybe you could do a chart with most crashes? 😂
I do remember Andrea De-Crash-a-res extremely well. He got into a fist-fight with Prost in the gravel trap once.... If you are truly terrible, you get fired, and quickly. This is a championship of the most mediocre, the ones who showed promise but never delivered. I notice Martin Brundle and Derek Warwick both feature highly here....
@@timmynicolas8729 Yeah. Moss keeps losing and regaining the top of that list when drivers such as Rosberg + Verstappen gain more wins but then become WC afterwards
With Bahrain and Jeddah, Hülkenberg has now eclipsed Nick Heidfeld!
After Miami now Hülkenberg is on top of the list.
I expect Sainz will come off the list this season.
Honestly I hope so too. He definitely deserves it, and it would be good for the show to have more competitive teams :)
Fucking hope so......

Magnussen is going to reach the top 7 likely this year (assuming Sainz wins a race)
I hope saint does, that would just be good. New winner that I like, not to mention a good enough driver to win

Heidfeld also beat Kimi and Massa as teammates
Good job to Harry Schell and Louid Rosier just for racing in f1 that long in the 50s and not dieing.
Harry Schell at least made it until the 1960's before being killed

Lance Stroll will keep racking up GP starts as long as daddy owns the team so he'd be in with a shot at taking the record 😂
