Amazing to think someone thought of these complex designs initially then worked to bring them into existence. Excellent craftsmanship too.

Greetings from the Canary Islands, Spain. It is a pleasure to find content of this type of ensemble. I am passionate about Japanese carpentry. Would it be possible for you to upload photos of the covers of the books you use, please.

This joinery is unique and complex. Awesome work, but in the real world, I’m not sure this is the most practical due to time spent. You’d have to really want to show off the joinery more than anything else. Other than that, it’s a nice design.

This is awesome to watch, as always! I have a couple of questions though. This is "henka" - a variation of a standard form, right? Also, is your wood milled perfectly square from all sides? In Western woodworking the layout is done from the best face and edge - so called "reference side", and it's usually marked with a special symbol. You seem to be using all sides as references, is it because a model piece is easy to mill perfectly square? Would a full size beam be marked like that too? Thanks a lot for the content you're posting, it's not easy to do things and film at the same time.

Thank you very much! You are right. Working while shooting video is not an easy task. But it's a lot of fun. I hope you will continue to support me in the future!

Gico impressionado com tanta destreza. Reduzir o tamanho para demonstração torna a tarefa mais difícil. Parabéns. Obrigado por compartilhar. Nota sua escola não é simples.

thank you! It's worth the effort to have someone like you, who understands a lot just by watching the video, watch it!
