Nice yard. I do miss this. Just something about working a job like that as a 40 year old makes you think about walking into the woodchipper at the end of the day because you can run the whole fuckin yard, fix all the broken equipment and grade the lumber too... For the same wage you started stacking for. I did always like the work tho. Keep you in good shape, especially debarking spring time poplar and hickory.
New to the channel. I am going to look at the past to see how you all cut the wood. I notice that the boards come off trimmed no other step needed. I am a wood worker from NH. Great video.
Looking good as usual, I hope your holiday was most excellent and that everyone is healthy and happy. I am wondering where your family is originally from, if you don't mind me asking.
I appreciate that!! My parents were both brought up where the mill resides. My grandpa went to Nashville HS which is around 15 mins from the mill. And my dads mother is from Scotland

Yes some furniture, but also flooring, paneling, and it makes good trailer deck material! Greeting from Indiana
The GoPro adds a lot of fish eye distortion.
But then - how often do we watch fish’s eyes on a sawmill channel?
