Yeah its pretty hilarious when they use the wrong car like in some of the Age of Extinction commercials. But its understandable since a few of those models were only concept Camero's and would never see the light of day on the market.

Fun fact: in the last knight movie, we saw a really short snippit how life was for autobots on Cuba (the only place where they can walk around legally), i would really like to see a longer version of it in some Cuba tourism ad

I guess advertising budget isn't included in the public number, but I found for TLK there's double the amount of T.V. spots, which sure seems like it's not exspensive; but likely Hollywood editors charge thousands per edit. Could mean ab additional $100K, translating to the movie being considered a flop. 🤔 Trusting Bay's last ( assuming he would have truly kept his word) would have been great and worth 48 edited short T.V. ads vs 28. Now they aren't sure do they take the chance doing the sequel or ( IMO) use the G1 safety net? So I don't think older fabs should be ecstatic to get G1 considering what brought the idea on.
Yeah you could tell that an insane amount of budget went into these promos. Which was well worth it with the exception of TLK which as you said doubled down on the advertisements.
Btw, The Last Knight commercial is better than the movie, oh and there's Bumblebee vs Barricade which is never shown, cause of the lazy writers who didn't remember the old school at all

Was probably deleted footage given how good the CGI is but given how extensive the final action scene was it had to be removed.
