    Love this! Another thing I've been doing is something Shinzen talked about in his "Mindfulness Strategies when Interacting" video. Essentially, it's a kind of metta practice of cultivating love inside yourself and listening with and through that. For me, it really creates compassion and allows me to also adopt the techniques in your video about "How to Support a Friend" a lot better. Before, when I was listening to someone who was stressed or going through a tough time, I was so identified with the feeling and atmosphere of it that I just instantly went into problem-solving mode.
