I love them too! I think we are so used to the huge hydrangeas which are beautiful, but these allow us to be more versatile. I’m pretty excited to see how they do over here. 🥰

Honestly anything organic garden soil that you can amended in to the soil works for me. You could also just use the mulch, which it seems like you have. I don’t use too much, just enough to blend in with the clay soil we have. If you used soil conditioner, that may just be enough too.

Will they tolerate full sun. I don’t have any shade in my garden. Do you know any other hydrangeas preferrably small sized ones that can tolerate full sun. I live in Oregon .
Yes they will! 🥰 The little limes also can tolerate full sun, have you looked at those?
Are there any deer resistant hydrangeas?
Karin ugh I'm sorry, are the deers eating yours?? I don't think there's a guarantee that they won't braise over most varieties, however I've talked to other gardeners that said they had good luck with Oak Leaf varieties, but that doesn't mean they stay away completely. I've also heard that some people have really good luck with Annabelles. 🥰
I want to plant these in a few weeks. What size are you planting? It's hard to tell.
Kathy you will love them! These were in a 3 gallon container. They were exposed to full sun and did great.

They did! And honestly I’d totally buy them in this size again so I have time to plan for other plants around them. 🥰
