      Yeah I recognized him too. I have an r33 rb25det series 2 in my s13. I wonder if the same mods would bring the same clean and modest gains...

    Hi Andrew,Your series of videos inspired me to do the same to my car but without some of the mods I didn't do cams and catch can I got 357kwaw on 20 psi and e85 we had trouble to start the engine when warm with the haltech have to turn it over then put accelerator to the floor and wait for it to fire,did yours do this?? starts straight away cold what are we missing with the haltech idle tune?? what power did you get on e85 at 20 psi??and could you post the breakdown of costs for each upgrade as I would like to copy suspension etc as well,Cheers 3rd Octave.

      3rdOctave Is it flooding? Had a similar sounding issue with my car until I got a new standalone setup and got it retuned.

      That guy owns motive dvd, Probably the best automotive dvd on the planet. He is fairly involved in the entire Australian car scene and is mates with the MCM guys.

    Andrew i would be keen on the $$$ spent also. Understanding you have had help from shops given your relationship with them on the channel it would still be nice to see where your at re figures overall

      Figures are so hard to give our as what country your from and who you know will determine the pricing. Also how handy you are with labour too

    Andrew. .question ; did you change the trigger disc in the cas ? how does haltec cope with the issues related with the oem disc ? Iam have ing issues with my ems. maxx ecu system. even at 440 b hp level. (360 awhp) they claim that the nissan cas is one of the wurst trigger systems they have ever seen. I might allso be experiencing some belt whip..iam going to tighten it. Iam allso going to get a 24/1 cas disc to help improve it further. basicly the ems reads a late trigger signal at 7400 rpm and misfires.

    Wanted to ask an honest noob question. Does it matter if the afm or maf is between the intercooler and throttle body or if it's in front of the turbo inlet? Does the car sort it out either way it's configured or is one way better than the other? Why and why not please?

      MAF works correctly when in front of the turbo. They're aren't designed to be pressurised by being after rate turbo, but plenty of people have done it.

    Would I be able to use the same hardware and mods on my rb25det s13 hatch? I have the haltech in the mail as I type this. Just wondered about the fuel and afm mods.

    you did all the cradle bushes in the rear hey? i put pinapples in mine to stop axle tramp.

      We didn't replace the bushes, but have the alloy "pineapples" in the cradle, which means bushes don't do anything. We fixed the axle tramp by raising the car slightly to give more suspension travel and put rear camber arms. can watch in the next video

    Can someone answer me, on the dyno runs why does the power go up and down in little waves at the top end? Is this a dyno prob or is the car not running well?

      Can be two things. Boost fluctuation as the boost controller struggles to keep constant boost, or, with GT-Rs oftener the constant changing of front torque can cause it.

      Still is relatively speaking. Budget just keeps going up.
      The money we've spent compared to similar GT-Rs is minimal.
