Everything about Star Trek IV just evokes joy and nostalgia
Watching this makes me realize how much I loved this cast and how they are truly missed. They were were a wonderful ensemble that we will never see the likes of again.
Leonard Nimoy did such a fantastic job directing. I wonder if it was difficult for him to stay in character while also directing.
The musical score of all star trek motion pictures has always been top notch adding that intangible dimension to the story and acting and the soundtrack of "the voyage home" is no exception.
Best Star Trek ever!...Miss all the cast members who have left us for the ultimate journey.
What was the thing that Kirk said in Star Trek V, when he went camping with Bones and Spock? He knew he would be okay because the two of them were with him..... and that he always knew that he would die 'alone'. While Kirk and Shatner are two different people, it is fascinating how Shatner/Kirk is all that's left of the iconic trio. Though.... Kirk didn't exactly die alone...... Picard was there.............. for whatever that was worth.... lol.
The biggest actress in the movie,
U.S.S. Kitty Hawk as the U.S.S. Enterprise, CVN- 65. 1961-2012 .
I must say that even today i find those whale robots they used incredible. They are so impressive especially when you think how this was over 30 years ago. I love the fact the scale size of the whales are actually pretty small. I’d seriously love being on a beach and bring my 5 foot long baby whale robot to play lol

Magnifique film, on retrouve l’âme de Léonard Nimoy. Il avait envie de faire un film positif plein de gaité et de joie. D’ailleurs je vois que des sourires, de TOUT les acteurs. Ils avaient tous envies de participer et de continuer l’aventure Star Trek. Quelle joie de revoir, les acteurs qui nous on quitté. Reste leurs œuvres . Mais il nous manque tellement.
