    Once again, brilliant advice and explanations, your mates are really lazy so and so's! Look after your tools, clean them after every use and they will last you a long, long, time, perhaps even your lifetime, that was the advice from my father and I have passed that on to my sons. Thank you so much for posting and the tip for making silicone seals, they work a treat! I do believe your mates owe you a pint or six!

    Did you try which washers are better/last longer? Water cured or regular?

    • @hastingsangler
      @hastingsangler  Год назад +2

      Hi they both work very well but if you have plenty of time to let them cure the pure silicone 1s last longer

    Great videos 👌. What is the best material to use? Copper or stainless . Is the centerrod solid bar or tube ? Im a plumber / pipewelder , with acces to all kind of stuff 😂

      Hi Peder happy Christmas my friend the center bar is solid 8mm 316 or 304 stainless with a m6 thread on 1 end with a m10 locking nut
      also depending on whats cheaper for you stainless 22mmm tube is better long term but i love 22 mm copper i seem to get more suction and the wear on the copper shows how deep they are good luck with your build if you get stuck just ask will always help cheers

      @hastingsangler  Год назад +2

      Hi it all depends on the shaft size that you use the thread on my pumps are 6mm thread so i use a 10mm nut 8mm would be 13mm and 10mm a 17mm nut hope this helps wingnuts are ok but always seem to come loose and always adjusting pump
