kinda shady, no badge, no uniform, just an unmarked car and a gun. is he actually a cop? he just looks like a guy trying to rob someone in the middle of the street.
"I got your ID, I'll put my gun away now" Because the cop knew he wouldn't hand it over without the threat of being shot? Because it's legal to draw a weapon on someone who doesn't identify themselves? This cop is too unstable to be on the force.
In Europe you would assume he is a cop because nobody really has a gun .In Europe they would pull this guy over and not ambush him at a red light and cause a traffic accident . What maron does that on the street .
The kind of dickless moron who goes to become a police officer in the first place and where the training brings out the worst in him. The same kind that would never make the cut in any European police force. I'm proud of the police in my country and horrified by the atrocities the police in America are allowed to get away with. Yes, atrocities.
He actually needed to be shot as soon as he reached for that wallet without identifying himself, preferably at the hands of the intended victim, or at the very least armed and conscientious passersby.
+Pablo Cruise - Actually he had his identification in plain view for the full length he was in the picture -- his doughnut shop gut! Seriously though, if he had the brass ones to pick the guy's wallet right off his person I'm surprised he didn't grab the GoPro next, just to make the video disappear.
Won't happen. There will be an internal "investigation" and he'll be put on administrated leave (no work, full pay) and then be found not guilty and reinstated without any fanfare.
Why is the Trump's America? This is in Washington State which is very liberal leaning. Washington did not vote for Trump. The police are run by the state and local government not the feds so Trump has no control over these officers. There are plenty of reasons to hate Trump but this in not one.
Don't expect idiots to understand what any of that means. It's a lot more simple for them to think that one man is the reason everything is broken in America cuz none of them want to get off their lazy asses and fix the part that's broken about them
The cop did not identify himself until much later. He just walked up to the biker with a gun drawn making demands. That cop broke police protocol from the start. He needs to be fired ASAP.
That "cop" is the reason people hate cops and to be honest even though I don't wish harm on anyone but if this video had the biker shoot the cop I would have to defend the biker. Speeding is not a reason to pull your gun on someone unless they pose a threat or you noitice that they have a gun too. Cops like him is why when the news reports an officer killed some people say He probably had it coming to him. We need to get assholes like him off the street stripped of all power and their guns because I bet cops like when people hear they are no longer a cop they can't wait to see them cause they have one he'll of ads beating that is ling over due
finitekosmos More criminals are gonna use this tactic. Pull out a gun on someone, tell them you're a cop, ask them not to move a muscle while also asking them to give their ID. When they don't know whether to reach for their wallet or not, you go grab their wallet, ask them to stay put, get in your car and drive away.
No kidding. I wouldn't be surprised if one of these days a cop got shot for doing that bs. I hope a cop never pulls that on me without a uniform because I'm armed.
finitekosmos I mean if the guy would of reacted in a defensive way...who could blame him! No way to know that was a cop. The cops in this country are pathetic cowards.
It's only a death machine because you're 37 times more likely to die in a motorcycle crash than an automobile crash. Motorcycles are more of a threat to their own riders than anyone else they're driving near.
Your regressive father, my first husband was hit head on by a pick up in HIS lane. He popped over a hill doing 55, the truck was in his lane doing 65. My (late) husband was crippled, suffered major organ damage, broken pelvis, and a his aorta was torn near the heart. He lived another 10 years, always in pain, until he died at 32 years old. The woman driving the pickup walked away with only minor bruising from her seatbelt. You don't need to fear motorcycles. People on motorcycles need to fear everyone else on the road.
Literally in black areas across the country I've seen cops do this to teenagers, and they're in unmarked cars and not in uniform, just look like gang members pulling guns on kids.
The H Robot That’s what’s frightening. He said; I can because I am a cop. And only because of the biker’s yes sir, no sir, please sir, may I sir(after snatching the guy’s wallet), did he put the gun away. I used to cycle, when there’s no cycling lane, and it’s illegal to cycle on certain pavement, I have to cycle on the main road, which was often. Two type of road users are most at risk, cyclists and bikers. And judging by how he stopped, there was no way he was speeding 100mph. I can tell, I have enough experience of bikers stopping next to me. And to top it all, he did not show the guy any identification to show he was the police. I would have a heart attack if anyone does that to me.
This is terrifying. I would have totally gotten shot because my first instinct would have been to punch the guy in the face and run...... If you are an officer riding in an unmarked car, wearing plain clothes, do not EVER pull a gun on someone unless they are actively threatening your life. This is assault. You are NOT exempt from assault charges just because you have a badge. People like this don't need to be put on administrative leave, they need to be fired immediately and blacklisted from ever being an officer again. Jesus Christ this is nuts.
Kaitlyn: You are right about the assault, but you are wrong that he's not exempt because he has a badge. Just wait and watch it fall out... there will be no charges by the DA even though any non-cop would already be locked up.
Napalm Warrior You could be very right about that. Maybe I should phrase it to "he should not be exempt" I doubt they will actually charge him. I would be impressed if they actually fired him to be honest....
This Detective did everything wrong. Correct procedure would have been for him to radio the violation in, get a marked unit to initiate the stop, and then take it from there.
Scared!!!!! I live in the King County area!!!!!! What the hell ......????? The guy with the gun...clearly has abuse of power!!!!!!! Did he go to the Arpaio school of law????
A lot of cops have psychological problems and the polic dept arent doing anything about it, just letting unhinged wackos run the streets with guns and megalomaniacal power
How about thinking of grabbing your shield BEFORE grabbing your gun?? Maybe? He didn't look like a cop to me. Just some random guy rolling up on someone at a stop light with a gun. So many things wrong with this. This guy is not a cop. He is a menace to society.
Ryan Anderson ...at this point, the only way these legalized criminals are going to fix their act, is when we arm ourselves and start gunning these thugs down. Because the legal and political systems doesn't care about the people, so these blue shirts can make up their rules.
How on earth can people still live in America without constantly wetting their underware? Sorry to say so but as a European, this kind of situation ist just beyond my comprehension... Your cops are just completely out of their minds!
Guy Werbrouck America rewards amoral behavior. Look at what we choose to showcase as things to aspire to, it's not judges, engineers, or doctors, it's the Trumps, it's the Kardashians, anything sensationalized really. For all the talk of problems with Islam, American moral values seem just as bad. Maybe even worse because we lie about it.
there pussys most of them don't give a rat's ass about our safety this country is getting worse by the day it's filled with unbelievable stupidity close minded people and hateful attitudes
because there are 300million+ people in the US and these occurrences are so. sooooooo rare. That detective is lucky there wasnt a civilion nearby who thought he was a robber and shot him.
I've been robbed by cops 3 times. "Regular" people, once. How can we have law and order if those that are supposed to uphold the law are the ones breaking it the most?
Whoever that was never identified himself as a police officer in at least during the video never showed identification.. so with that in mind not offering any proof of authority he himself could have been shot as a lunatic. Is he police officer?
No video and this guy is screwed. Can u imagine how much of this happens that we don't see? Funny how "Big Brother" turned out to be us. Film every altercation with the police, or anyone u think is sketchy.
He had his gun drawn and walked right up to the guy on the bike and didn't even announce that he was a cop, the poor motor cyclist probably thought he was being mugged
Right and wrong. He's definitely not going to be a police officer much longer, and wrong in that many police have little knowledge of the criminal code, and instead act on positional authority to get results they want.
The detective received a 225 day administrative leave (paid vacation) before being "charged" as discourteous to the biker and received a 5 day suspension; just to have his police union argue that down to a 1 day suspension...
Seriously? Placed on leave? He needs to be fired on the spot. How is that not disgusting behavior and worthy of being fired? I don’t get it. I’ was almost fired because at 18 I couldn’t type fast and perfect enough for a boss who couldn’t keep help because she expected perfection.
Public sector unions are whats stopping that. Same reason a teacher that is videoed hitting a student is put on leave rather then fired. Have to abide by the union contract for disciplinary action. Are you anti Union?
Cop dressed in civilian clothing robs white mans wallet in the middle of the road without ever showing his I.D. I wonder how they're going to make this "justified action"
The position of the gun is a covert firing stance as opposed to arms extended. His badge wasn't even showing, this is way out of order very unprofessional yet likely regular.
If a bystander saw this, it would look like a biker is getting robbed at gunpoint. No uniform, no badge, and didn't even say he was a cop until he'd taken his wallet. I bet the cop walks.
No badge, no immediate identification that he is the police, conduct completely unlike any you would expect from a cop. At the moment of contact, this guy is a civilian brandishing a firearm. But I guess since this shithead had a gun pointed at him he really had no choice. Clearly this detective will be looking for another job.
There was a cover-up! *HE HAD NO UNIFORM ON* and was purposely hiding his gun. If that guy had ran away and got shot *BY A PLAIN CLOTHED police "officer"* the police would have told all sorts of lies and we wouldn't have even heard of this incident. Now think about all the other egregious misconducts that the police might have actually gotten away with in the past. *These situations aren't new, folks.* Social media is exposing what's been happening all along.
I really can't stop laughing, it's just hilarious. What i'm laughing at is the way in which the detective approached him, he just appeared out of nowhere, he's a complete maniac, the way he was talking, it was like he was gonna ask him about the weather, you're just on the freeway and then some crazy man suddenly appears with a gun like it's a normal thing, he had a smile on his face too.
He didn't even identify himself as an officer until halfway through the encounter. You probably can't even count the number of protocols he was violating on your own two hands..
I used to grow brushing aside all the white stereotypes, especially since my area is racists. But all these past years, I'm starting to think there is something to the stereotypes.
Looked like an armed carjacking to me! I'm glad the motorcyclist didn't practice his second amendment rights and shot that cop in the face. I hope to see charges against that cop.
Should be a police force to police the police! If a cop unlawfully kills someome. Investigations should be external from the police department involved. Ultimately given the death penalty. They need to be held accountable for their actions. To protect and serve and thats to protect and serve the public and the law. Not break the law and kill the public.
Cops don't pull some shit like this on me. Cause guess what I carry a gun too. Badge out and visible, identity yourself, don't pull a gun for non violent situations.
@Ross Smith -- White cops aren't afraid of afroamericans. They just know they have impunity. Remember the cop who shot the black guy in the back as the black guy was running away, then planted the tazer next to him? No, he wasn't afraid of the guy running away. They do what they do because they know they have impunity. That's not fear. That's a complete lack thereof.
So when cops abuse their power against non-white people, it just confirms your bias that they only do so against black people. But when you see evidence that they also do it against white people, you ignore it, and make up a fantasy about what would happen if he was black? Thus confirming your bias that this only happens to black people!? It's almost as if cops do this to everyone, regardless of color, and you just don't want to admit that fact.
Ariel Mckenzie if he was a black man he would have never had a gun pulled on him police protect you black cry baby's black people stop your victim mentality
These type of cops are why people are starting to not trust the police including me, I get stereotyped by the cops alot because of my tattoos, I use to look up to police and want to be one, now they just scare me, but there still are some great cops!!!
kinda shady, no badge, no uniform, just an unmarked car and a gun. is he actually a cop? he just looks like a guy trying to rob someone in the middle of the street.
EXACTLY my thought.
Well he was suspended, so i guess he was a cop

Because the cop knew he wouldn't hand it over without the threat of being shot? Because it's legal to draw a weapon on someone who doesn't identify themselves? This cop is too unstable to be on the force.
K Higgins He actually is a cop and I believe he's on review at the moment,
Sports Fan he's on administrative leave. Which means he'll be paid to do nothing while his superiors connive to keep him out of real trouble.

How awesome nobody got shot this time. Cops, at least many need to be reviewed more often. Serve and protect- not brandish weapons and terriorize.
But no, no such thing as a bad cop.
I’m surprised the motorcyclist didn’t just drive away to flee the apparent robbery in progress.
We have to come together against this bs.
So disproportionate. Do cops pull guns on all speeders?
The Detective was arrested for pulling a Gun on biker
This looks like a robbery if this man pulled up on me like this he would have been shot in self defense
No badge?? Hardly identified himself...he absolutely needs to be fired.
He actually needed to be shot as soon as he reached for that wallet without identifying himself, preferably at the hands of the intended victim, or at the very least armed and conscientious passersby.
He drowned in melted badges after that day.

He'll probably get a couple weeks of desk duty as punishment.
stush7 naw he should be in jail
Looks like a robbery in the beginning
What if an armed citizen say was there and shot the cop thinking he was a robber?
He didn't even identify himself as a cop until 30 seconds into the altercation.
Those first 30 seconds were indistinguishable from a carjacking.

He conducted an illegal search of the biker as well. I'd be getting a lawyer and suing the Sheriff department over this one...
He could have been shot and it would have been justified. Guys a lucky piece of shit.
Why would it have been justified? The motorcycle driver posed absolutely no threat to the former cop.

Wow, it's not often that I'm in agreement with TYT but kudos for accurate reporting.
This is why they're called pigs.
Pigs are cute and delicious. These guys are not. Let's not insult pigs.
Pigs are sentient and smarter than anyone gives them credit for. Cops are assholes with small dicks and a superiority complex.
Tyler Rue
For some reason I read that as "small dick holes." I know. Weird and random af. Anyway, totally agree. 😂
Paul exactly that is a fu king pig!!!!!
Ten bucks says that that cop sees all the people saying how wrong he was and thinks of himself as some sort of martyr.
He makes me want to spit and scream. I absolutely hate the "I'm tough because I have a gun mentality"
The Hungry Hermit you mean the american attitude
@@IXSICNESS I think you mean the cop attitude you do this in America and you get charged with brandishing
So you guys still think that black people who have been complaining about that stuff for over 60 yrs are crazy?.
Englysh Wint yes because it’s always a race thing rather than a police policy and practice issue.
At least matt Dillon wore a badge. This cop seems to act more like a robber
HE SHOULD BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY. NO PAID LEAVE, NO INVESTIGATION. FIRED, PERIOD!!
Never bring a bike to a gunfight?
juan gomez 😂
never bring a fight to a gunbike
The Humping Robot ...a crazy cop
There was a cover-up! *HE HAD NO UNIFORM ON* and was purposely hiding his gun.
If that guy had ran away and got shot *BY A PLAIN CLOTHED police "officer"* the police would have told all sorts of lies and we wouldn't have even heard of this incident. Now think about all the other egregious misconducts that the police might have actually gotten away with in the past. *These situations aren't new, folks.* Social media is exposing what's been happening all along.
juan gomez
That needs to be pinned to the top. Lol
I've said it before and I'll say it again. This is what happens when you give psychos any power
Administrative Leave?!? NOT FIRED! WTF!
He didn't even identify himself as an officer until halfway through the encounter. You probably can't even count the number of protocols he was violating on your own two hands..
*walks up to you with gun drawn
*HOW YA DOIN!*
Oh, my... Is that a situation for pulling a gun and point that at people?
He should've showed his cop badge, not a gun!
AHAHAHA! Look at Jon's beard
the only beard you can grow is between your legs
Thomas Smith Now that's a manly man.
I'm going to dump you.....he says that way before he identifies himself as a cop....he should be fired.
That Cop should goto jail for along time
I used to grow brushing aside all the white stereotypes, especially since my area is racists. But all these past years, I'm starting to think there is something to the stereotypes.
Detective should be fired! Plan and simple
jessejauregui Nor just that. He should be prosecuted and treated EXACTLY as he would if he was a civilian pulling that shit.
Mobster glasses, mobster conduct, mobster cop. USA you've got a cop problem.
Looked like an armed carjacking to me! I'm glad the motorcyclist didn't practice his second amendment rights and shot that cop in the face.
I hope to see charges against that cop.
That SOB needs to be FIRED, if in the same situation maybe would have attempted to HIT the guy because have not a clue as to who he is...FIRE the guy!
Sickening to see how it strokes his ego to see the driver scared shitless.
Should be a police force to police the police! If a cop unlawfully kills someome. Investigations should be external from the police department involved. Ultimately given the death penalty. They need to be held accountable for their actions. To protect and serve and thats to protect and serve the public and the law. Not break the law and kill the public.
MURICA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Cops don't pull some shit like this on me. Cause guess what I carry a gun too. Badge out and visible, identity yourself, don't pull a gun for non violent situations.
If he was a black man?... 🤔
Ariel Mckenzie I was think same. Sadly, we know what the outcome would be....DOA.
This is irrelevant. The cop didn't even know what race the guy is, because he wouldn't let him remove his helmet.
Ariel Mckenzie if he was a black man he would have never had a gun pulled on him police protect you black cry baby's black people stop your victim mentality
I stand corrected apparently real cop did armed robbery on camera
the biker has a youtube channel ! He got a nice new bike out of the lawsuit !
You don't pull a gun out a person that's stopped. You draw a gun only when needed.
These type of cops are why people are starting to not trust the police including me, I get stereotyped by the cops alot because of my tattoos, I use to look up to police and want to be one, now they just scare me, but there still are some great cops!!!
This is how most American cops act when they think they're not being recorded.
