Funny coincidence, right after posting this video I had a buyer claim they didn't receive some hair product I sold on eBay. Luckily due to the tips in this video I know what to do to not lose out on the sale. :) Have a great day everybody
When you say to record packaging the item etc, do you know how easy it is to record you putting the correct item in box and taping it up and then turn the camera off to un tape it to put something different inside the box? 😂 that’s all a buyer has to say to win.
I agree but this does give PayPal something to consider. The point is to show eBay and PayPal that you’re doing your best to provide proof of doing the right thing. In this instance I believe even if the buyer wins PayPal and eBay seller protection will cover the seller. But yes this is a valid point I appreciate the comment!
@@DollarDreamYT no problem! Just so easy to scam people these days on the internet it’s unreal! And when and if you file a police report etc, they don’t care at all and nothing happens to the buyer unless he repeatedly does it and gets on their radar.
Khang k, I sell expensive stuff on eBay, just have to comply with all eBay seller protection guidelines. If you comply with those you as a seller can also be protected in case of a scam

Even you record everything, Ebay favors buyers. To avoid ebay buyer scams, we do not sell expensive items on Ebay.
