This is my favorite of the moderate resorts at Disney; great theming, food options, and it's SMALL. You don't realize how helpful that fact is until you've stayed in it's big brother Riverside, or Old Key West. Our last stay was OKW; great resort, but we quickly learned to use the first bus stop (hint: it's the Peninsular) or the buses would be full when they got to us after 5 other stops. FQ has only one stop, and it's close to everything; that alone is a reason to stay.
Love the theme of this resort. Great walk around view, thank you so much for this. Do you think it takes away from the resort to not have a sit down dining option other then walking over to Riverside? Also, I see many comments about the Buses to the parks and that French Quarter is just one stop for the bus route where Riverside is multiple. Do you think this is a detractor from this resort as well?
That's a great question. To answer it: No. I do not think that the lack of table service dining takes away from French Quarter in any way. This Resort still has the quick service and the lounge that serves food also, but is also a short boat ride from all the Disney Springs dining options. As far as transportation is concerned, there are a lot of WDW Resort Hotels that don't have any transportation beyond buses. Some of them actually have ONLY bus transportation, whereas this resort also has a boat to Disney Springs. It's really is a matter if personal opinion.

i would stay at Port Orleans if there was transportation if there was more options for transportation
do all the laundry facilities require a phone?
No, they do not. Some have a wall mounted kiosk. You can see it in our Coronado Springs check-in vlog.
@@2foolishmortals how about the Caribbean beach?
I'm not sure about the situation at Caribbean Beach.
