    Betcha they do the dial reset on purpose because the manual says to always start machine on 1 and bring up to high (or whatever speed you’re going for).

    • @vitabox8375
      @vitabox8375  9 месяцев назад

      The digital control ramps up to the speed the traditional dial is set for because it has a set start and end to its travel. The infinity dial has no finite position it can spin forever, so it must reset to 0.

    my favorite vitamix of all time is the vita-prep 3. basically it's the vitamix 5200 with 3 horsepower instead of 2 horsepower. it's slightly cheaper than top of the line A series and G Series with 0.8 more horsepower than A and G series.

    Hey there.
    Years down the road is the a3500 still going strong more especially the touch controls? I really want to buy the a3500 but worried that the touch controls may not last for over 10 years. I've read testimonies of people who claim to have had their machines for like 20 years and I don't know if the a3500 will be able to last that long with the non-manual controls. So, I am torn between buying the a3500 versus the v1200. Your honest response will be of great help.

    • @vitabox8375
      @vitabox8375  2 года назад +5

      It really depends on a lot of things like usage, environment, etc. These machines generally last a long time but only recently have the new machines come out so it's impossible to say how long they'd last on average.
      I wouldn't worry about it that's what the 10 year warranty is for. If it ever broke after that the pain of spending the money on the machine would be long gone. It would have paid for itself 100s of times over anyway.
      Just get one and enjoy it. 😉

    Hey bro good video! I'm somewhat of a Vitamix snob myself! Haha. I still rock a Vitamix 5000. Which model would you say is best in your opinion?

    • @vitabox8375

      It's not such a simple answer because each one has its own characteristics. But they all pretty much make anything to the highest degree of texture quality.

    Reason why most professionals chefs like analog dials equals more controls and the feel and not have check screen every time. I got the a3500 it still a great blender but wish I when with this one, or a2500. Plus same motor and cheaper, only reason when with a3500 was they didn’t have in stock locally the a2500 at the time.

    Thank you so very much for this video and comparison of these 2 specific Vitamix machines 🙏 You've helped me make up my mind on which I would prefer between the 2. I've also had my eye on the E320 Vitamix. So now I'm in between getting either the E320 or the Venturist 1200. Which would you recommend please? 🙏 Thank you once again! ☺️🙏

      If you've never had a vitamix before and you can splurge a bit, get the Venturist. You get a 20 oz cup and future attachment capabilities like the food processor or whatever else they invent. With the e320, it is limited to the attachments that already exist.

      I wish other demonstrators and youtubers would not mention this so much. The truth is that they are all pretty loud. The difference is very small, so it's not like anyone can blend something without waking someone up in the middle of the night or early morning. Just 100% truth.

      @@vitabox8375 Such a great response. I feel like I using all my free time researching the slight difference in sound. I myself have already decided I am going to purchase a sound enclosure from a company called Whisper blend that specifically fit Vitamixers. Yes, it is another 200 dollars but I will buy a cheaper so called more loud blender like the e310 and just pop that sucker in there 40% noise reduction. Problem of noise solved.

    • @vitabox8375
      @vitabox8375  3 года назад

      @@Mz.M.2757 you're one of the smarter people out there who see and think beyond face value. The enclosure would work both better and still cost about the same as the top of the line model which would still be loud. Coffee houses that use the commercial machine are very quiet because of the sound hood.

    I got the A2500 a few weeks ago and I like it. My only complaint is that it seems to rattle if that makes sense. Like not the motor but the container or something. My old Vitamix didn't do that. I didn't want a complete automatic interface because I wanted a little more control. Do you feel that way? Is it quieter? Funny I made this comment before you demonstrated the noise from the back. hahahaha. I thought it was the movement of the container or something. You are right, it sometimes doesn't do it.

    • @vitabox8375
      @vitabox8375  4 года назад +3

      Yea I feel like the ascent series isn't as good in fit-and-finish like the older machines are. Not that they are any less reliable, but the motor base isn't as well built. It may be the trade off to keep control of pricing. Funny because my mother's a2500 is better in finish so it doesn't rattle.

      @@vitabox8375 send it back, your are clearly under warranty and explain that the base has a strong rattle. Lastly, ask that they test the new machine ( for the same

    • @vitabox8375
      @vitabox8375  11 месяцев назад

      Practically the same machine. Just the buttons and the package. A3500 has a spinning dial that is ok but I prefer a dial where you set it and it doesn't reset back to zero when a container is removed. Not a big deal but a difference.

I just ordered one today but I saw that there are two models, the 1200 and the 1200V (which seems to be more popular from what I saw on the internet), and I’m not sure if only the 1200V model has Bluetooth or if the 1200 model is also a Bluetooth capable because the guy at Costco didn’t demonstrate or talked about Bluetooth at all

      That's the downside some companies have. Too many models that do practically the same job. If you've never had a Vitamix before I'd get the most affordable Ascent series. I like ascent because all accessories going forward will be made for them. A reconditioned Venturist is the best bang for the buck. If price is the only object and you need one immediately, then get ANY one that you can afford. Not a fan of the vitamix one unless you 1) you travel a lot 2) don't care about hot soups 3) don't care about fresh nut butters.

      @@vitabox8375 Thank you so much. I’m trying to decide between the 2 entry lever models. My only concern is one of them is 2 hp and one is 2.2 hp, do you think the extra power is essential. Thanks again

    • @vitabox8375
      @vitabox8375  2 года назад +3

      Forget power; its only one part of a much larger picture. All you need to know is that every vitamix model has the power required to produced the best culinary results. The only reason the 2.2 hp motor exist is to drive the WIDE 64 oz jug because it has a huge 4" blade. The narrow jugs have smaller blades so they don't need that amount. I have a 2 hp vitamix and I've never been able to overwork that motor and I've given that one the BEANS lol!
