      This will be my first time cooking Pak Choi at home so I am excited. What oil would you recommend using as a base? I usually use olive oil or rapeseed oil in other dishes but wanted to check what you recommend for a dish such as this please.

    I really liked how you added easy ways to screw up the dish. It's helpful to know the potential pitfalls when experimenting with new ingredients. Great video as usual!

    Love ginger, never thought of crisping it, great tip. I usually stir fry pak choi with ripe tomatoes ginger garlic and touch of sugar & soy sauce

    Garlic oil is lovely with Pak Choi and Oyster Sauce.

      Yeah it is! You could always chuck a little bit of garlic in with the ginger, but be careful not to burn it - Lee

    I normally pour the oyster sauce on top first before drizzling the spice flavored oil over it to create a aromatic effect.

    I'm so so glad to have found your channel. Also cam we stir fry the choi? Or do we have to blanch it 1st?

    • @SchoolofWok
      @SchoolofWok  3 года назад +1

      Thanks! Blanching it first is the best option, as you don't risk burning it in the wok! - Lee

    I was expecting some professional cooking..was extremely disappointed to see boiled veggies to be considered as Restaurant style cooking.
    Infact I think it's a good video to be put as a Joke
