That may be the sad truth, i think that is one of the reasons Dark Allience got such bad press, they did not even ask me. The last game i was sponsored to play was Wastelands 3 from Obsidian and my god that was a great game! I knew that before i said yes though.
It's also not on steam which is how a lot of new releases get initial hype, unless someone stumbles across their website no on is going to really find out about this.

Well, they sure made Wulfgar (originally intended to be the star protagonist of the Icewind Dale triology, mind you) a complete boneheaded fool in the cinematic trailer. Total dismiss.
This is the type of game that's best experienced in a single player format with co-op as an option for those who want it. I don't see it making waves as an MMO. And while its art direction is gorgeous I can't shake the feeling that it's primarily intended for mobile devices.

Exciting. That old school rpg combat with a beautiful world to walk around in. Combat looks interesting and fun as well. Hopefully the writing holds up.
The only thing I find awkward about their combat system is when you rush towards the enemy for a melee attack, you should NOT run back to your starting point for the next round. Your long range weapons should not be available as an option once in melee range. If you are a ranged class, there should be defensive options to get out of range again.
Kingdom come deliverence proved that you don't need to be a triple A title and company with a large budget to make a game good. It's the love and dedication that matters in the end.
Turn-based combat. Last time I played a game with it was Knights Of The Old Republic (still superior to Disney's take on the Skywalker dynasty). Good times.
Top-down games usually don’t get as much traction these days. I thought it would be cool from the thumbnail but seeing the perspective immediately dropped it into a category that I would probably never play.
Hmm yes it's bad I mean look at the top down graphics. So off putting! Gonna go play me some fortnite instead. Mostly cause playing something new terrifies me. It's like trying a new Vegatable I have never seen before. Drop it off like it's hot.

Maybe the population that plays these types of games just has more disposable income, otherwise I’m not sure why they would pick this style. Personally, I like more immersive gameplay. Great art style and graphics despite not using a camera positioning scheme that most would expect to take advantage of said graphics and art. I'm digging it altogether. And i am sure laptop gamers will be thankful.

Haven't been able to find any deep info about the monetization model, not even on their website! Perhaps you could tell us more about it in one of your next vids? (stuff like release date, monetization model, mid and long term plans of the project, etc.). EDIT: On their website the download was available, thought their were already on a Beta2 tryout, game didn't work!!! >:( devs should disable client downloads until released so ppl don't get hopes. Also they should include a bit more info on the website and press kit: at least estimate release date, monetization model, mid and long term plans for the project, some devlogs speaking on where they are exactly in their dev schedule. The normal stuff.

This is another game of the Polish studio, which makes me very proud because I also come from Poland. I am wondering how people who do not speak Polish understand the jokes in the game, for example in BR and Witcher there were a lot of Polish jokes. Do you laugh at Polish jokes?
I wasn't aware you had a table top channel. If you're interested, I play in a star wars conversion of 5e. 100% fair if there's no interest but felt like extending such once I learned you had an interest in table top.
Big issue I see is this game is made with single player as a focus (GM said this is game) so a really annoying thing is if you play with friends you all need to leave party and accept and do dialogue seperate to each other and hope that the dialogue does not go straight into combat (which it often does) so you'll either need to do each quest X times party members or not okay with friends outside of getting difficult quests and doing them together. Just seems like a big design flaw to me and it's frustrating because the parts of this game I managed to play outside bugs was bloody fantastic, genuine fun.
Looks like a mobile game ported to PC, but can't have too many crpgs. I'll give it a shot, enjoyed the video edit: Noticed the Open Beta ended, so it's just a wait for full release or additional betas I suppose

This game has been developed for more than 10 years so far. I'm an old Polish player from this game. What you have been playing here is a new version of this game that they are currently working on. It's basicly the same game as before but with changed graphics, interface and some other details. Should anyone have any questions about this game just let me know - I'll be happy to answer ;)

Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.

Until min 8 when he said "i am ESO gaming" to the npc, i genuinely thought it was pewdipie getting a beta key because he was famous, hence trying the game.
That is very interesting how a Sheed is a finely tuned physical combat fighter and weak to mental attacks. Fact 101 you need a very strong mental acuity to be a good fighter, those stats make no sense at all in fact are totally backward.

Games that have this turn base team vs team fights are not mmorpg to me. This is why nobody heard about this, but instead hyped about New World, Elyon, Lost Ark. Because you can really fight using your character and customizable skills in a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game

I would describe it as a D&D style MMORPG with a pretty unique, tactical combat and somewhat interesting story. Not a bad game ;)

It's been a while when a trailer used the opening "in a world" seriously.
I hope to god this isn't just another themepark game but with isometric view graphics and turn based combat.

I did some research, it's based on a very successful browser game haha. So almost, though i think it would be great on mobile tbh.

can you change your character's gender? It liked it but couldn't be sure from the character creation tool.
