This is so elegant and beautiful. I wish I had been alive then to meet such an elegant and beautiful lady. Such a tragedy to think she took her own life at 38 in 1980 3 years before I was born because of being lost and broken inside. You never know how Imogen and others truly felt when you see an interview such as this. She is loved and missed to this day so much by all. She really was stunning with beautiful features. Wonderfully spoken with so much etiquette. I can't help but keep watching. She deserved so much more happiness from life. Imogen, you will always be remembered by me even if I was born 3 years after you left us but I love you so so much and hope to see you in heaven and you are missed dearly but forever in my heart from your memories on screen and I'm sure I speak for others too. You were gorgeous and forever in my thoughts. Never forgotten. x
Beautiful just isn't the word. She was just gorgeous and stunning and remembered to this day. It's so sad she's gone. I can't think of an actress more beautiful.
Scary to think dear Imogen has been gone for over 40 years now. The more I've learned about her life, the more my heart aches for her. Imogen's father died when she was only 21, he suffered a heart attack while running to catch a train to see her ballet performance. I understand Imogen's mother, who was also a beautiful actress, died earlier than that. Losing both of her parents at such a tender age must have weighed heavily on her emotionally. Her career never really took off, she had several failed romances and a miscarriage. It's tragic that this poor soul felt she had no escape from her turmoil than the final one. I too wish I could've met her just once 🙏
@@harrydrake4173 I do aswell. I just can't help but love her so much. I keep thinking how she felt in life.I'm glad you also still remember even after 40 years. Time never passes when we lose someone so special in our hearts. I hope she is looking down. I think of her all the time. She's so sorely missed. There's a wonderful book on her by Dan Leissner. I just want to see her again and wish I had been born to meet her. It's people like Imogen that are so important to remember because of the tragedies of what happened. You can't help but feel she was just an honest loving person who wanted to be loved for who she was. I know I will always love her on screen and for the human being she was.
Beauty is the word. I wish I could have been alive in her era to meet her. I'm more sorry she isn't here now, a kind loving person who was lost and broken inside. She's thought of so much.
Love her speaking voice, she sounds Shakespearean "don't know if i spelled that right" 🤭 very sexy looking, but ofcourse alot of women were at this time 1960's the style of clothes the hair , definitely the make-up so wonderful, all vibrant with color not drab black all the time, like in recent years. She had a knockout figure, good video of her will keep this in my You Tube library 💖💫💥🔥🔥🔥🔥
She appeared in many ITC productions. Both on film and tv ; she was in atheist three episodes of "The Saint " was in the pilot episode of The Persuaders. And in Jason King. She was in several Hammer films, usually playing either vampires or their victims, she was the :"go to" girl when the director needed someone to fill a role in a hurry.
Her experience with this film is is much like Susan Oliver as The Green Orion Slave Girl and Raquel Welch in One Million Years B.C.: Roles that branded these actresses forever in the fantasy genre.
Imogen was a such pretty Beauty at her Time, I remember the rare longer, but Smoking hot Cavewomen-Catfight uncut with her and Victoria Vetri down on the Beach
With Imogen's career in decline, she became depressed. Following previous suicide attempts, she was found dead in her Wimbledon home on the morning of 16 November 1980, when she failed to meet a friend, the actress Suzanna Leigh, with whom she was due to go on holiday to Mombasa that day. She had apparently committed suicide by overdosing on Tuinal tablets. She was interred in Gap Road Cemetery, Wimbledon, London.

Always loved the beauty and the voice of the wonderful Imogen.
R .I .P. Lovely lady. xxx

Imagen was a stunner !! Sad that she had a troubled life. RIP.
Cor was she a stunner! But just a wonderful human being more importantly.
So beautiful.
She’s just breathtaking. What a waste that only ten years later she committed suicide and has been dead 40 years now.
Wow. To travel back in time and meet her would be something, to me she is a legend, gives me goosebumps watching this. Thanks for posting.

She is and will always be gorgeous.
@@jonwhittingtonpiano2378 I should correct my previous comment. I understand that Imogen's mother actually outlived her daughter.
@@harrydrake4173 that is even more tragic to think of that.
She was a beautiful woman, with an elegant and classy voice 😍
She was amazingly beautiful!! ❤
What a beauty. I just saw her in the film, Incense For The Damned. Too bad she died so young. Thanks for posting this rare interview.

What a charming young woman!
She came from a family with many artists, actors and musicians; Ivor Novello was her uncle
She got her exotic looks from her Indian grandmother.

She wasn’t on much at all. Don’t tell tales….

I've seen the fight in the movie. I would LOVE to see the uncut longer version. Is it still available? I can't find it anywhere.
