I love the rules from expansion bit more 🙂 Because there are no instant death for monsters. They got wounds first by sticking small swords into them. Awesome idea

xD I would have hoarded my gems too! Lesson learned! Cant wait to play! I might try "voodoo toothpicks" or something else to experiment with hp. Have you folks experimented with anything like that?
That would be an awesome homerule idea! The original concept of the game featured little toothpick like sticks, but having hit points adds a bit to the play time - and after a bit of playtesting, I felt that it was better to keep the core rules and game more streamlined/fast. One we have the core rules locked however, I'd love to explore that idea a bit more!

Hello, I just get the game second hand and I'm very very excited!!! Because I never thought I would find it in here (Athens). But this video is old I guess and dices seems different. Can you or someone else make a new video? (And please without children... and not for children.. My inner child bought this game but my adult self should learn it first : D )

Although this video is old (pre first Kickstarter campaign), the overall structure and rules of the game are the same. The only major difference is how combat dice are resolved.
In this video, each player is rolling a few numbered dice and comparing the highest roll result. In the final published game, your instead rolling a pool of combat dice and comparing the results. The defender is rolling for shields while the attacker is rolling for hit symbols. If you roll a gem symbol, you also gain a gem.

We're planning to create an updated Lets Play video in the next couple of months. We're currently developing an expansion, so the plan is to film a new Lets Play video for the base game when we film one for that.

Also shes declaring her stars right away,, i dont think she understands she can choose what it is after activation,, or am i mistaken
The standard rules force you to declare what the wild is when you assign it. In the final rulebook is an optional fan rule that lets you leave the wild as wild when assigning - which lets you decide what it is when it comes time to activate/resolve it.

At 22:25 ,, cant she sacrifice that magic die for one of them boost crystals,, like thats the only way to get boost crystals right, sacrificing mgcs or stars ,, jeez you should've helped her out more , she mightve hung out afterwards
If you visit necromolds.com, you can download the first printing rulebook PDF. The rules in this video are pretty outdated (pre-kickstarter). For example, we ditched the numbered d10/d8 combat dice for custom d8 dice which are much more fun!
