No, that's where the 2 engines are at - very durable tandem. Hatches on top sides and on roof. BTR-70 has hatches on bottom sides and on BTR-80 the entire side just opens up like a bird's beak.
Very good clip. thanks. I play Steel Armor Blaze of War (SABOW) Tank Simulation game and in the game BTR60s simulated well. But in SABOW they've very slow Cross Speed. I think they can make 30-40 kmh Cross Country Speed in real life . But in game top country speed 20 kmh apr.
This video really helped me make a decision. I wanted to get an APC for me and my friends but I couldn't figure out if I wanted a btr 60 or an ot 64 skot. The open access to the back from the front seat on the btr 60 is exactly what I need.
No offense to anyone involved bt in my personal opinion and mine only its a coffin on wheels and I'd be scared af to have to drive one into a hot combat zone an abomination of the armored vehicle apologies
You do realize btr were ment to disembark their infantry long before entering combat. During combat they would act as a Mobile machine gun nest and would engage enemy infantry at at least 800 meters
i dont know about ac but you could rig a shower, for the toilet you could take a bucket and put saw dust in the bottom and i wont smell at all, and yes it will protect from all gasses if the seals are good it will survive a nuke if properly equipped
This would make one heck of a zombie/apocalypse type survival vehicle.
Very good video. I was looking a lot of BTR videos , that is the first one where the view is shown trough the viewports. Thank You!!

Where was this?
FPSRussia's name isn't Dmitry(you spelled it wrong), his name is Kyle, and he's not Russian his original channel name is FPSKyle
great , i can not imagine just driving that over rough ground.bad backs or what

You can rig up an electric A/C in it, I have one in a BRDM 2, it barely takes up any space too
Funny and good
dot they have larger doors in the back?
Čia Vilniuje buvau šito btr viduje. Buvo didelis dyzelino kvapas, bet vistiek faina. Dabar juos iškele į Kauna lygtais.
