It's crazy that the greatest suffering can be turned into such a simple thing. I'm seeing your video for the first time and I see it exactly like that, it's exactly the way out of this Long Covid thing.

i inherited exhausting behaviours (for ex. extreme people pleasing), which had been my parents' reactions to complex trauma when they were little. this was difficult to dig up because my childhood was totally safe for my nervous system. i always knew there was an energy leak in my patterns. also i knew in order to manage long covid in the years afterwards and not to get exhausted with the next big stress phase, i had to reveal those patterns. now i am working on recognizing them, which allows me to change them. i learn a lot from Tim Fletchers videos and from CrappyChildhoodFairy.

Very good video! I was just thinking about a ''friend'' who doesn't believe that I have long covid and was not supportive at all during these last 3 years. Then, this week, he contacted me to see if I could help him on something and it was very very triggering for me. I just did the gentleman and said that it was a difficult moment for me, and he never replied. Yeah... Something for me to work on...

Great perspective!! When triggers get viewed as something to work on we are on the right path!

Great video! Since I've been taking this approach I feel a lot more connected to my body and feel in the present moment which has been amazing. However all the physical symptoms/sensations have become more intense than ever. Is this supposed to happen? Starting to question myself now.

Yes I think this is quite common, you can see it as the nervous system fighting back and trying to get your attention. I think Alan Gordan said some things about it in his book: The way out. Just stick with the practices and try to keep on telling your nervous system that you are safe and the sensations are OK.

Sorry to hear you are suffering. There is no need to push down the grief, let it come up and try to feel it and welcome it with love. Don't be afraid to start small and feel it for just a bit.
