@@BrianAlex ill buy this probably mostly for the screen. Checked it IRL and its nuts compared to my 4-5 year old HTC U12+ which been great to. Will keep the U12+ for the Sony sensor & HTC great optimization, though its old now. Happened to crack the screen while working with car 😄 But just got 1 curved line over, so still usable. But ithink its finally time to switch! 25% cut on that Moto Edge 30 right now! 3800 Swedish SEK! 🙂 👍
You said READY FOR isn't supported via usb-c port. Have you tested it by yourself or read somewhere....? Coz some other RUclipsr were saying it does support ready for via usb-c port as well as over wireless network. It would have been g8 if you have shown it practically in this video. Thanks 🙏
It does work over USB with the Ready for app for PC, for the solely phone powered interface it does not. Plugging it into a USB-C monitor does nothing. On the Pro doing the same brings up the desktop interface.

I just ordered this phone in Flipkart for Rs. 22,778/-. As a user of previous phones from brands like Realme, Redmi, Poco, 1+, Moto, Samsung, finally decide to go back to Moto for a better stock android experience + Reliable hardware + Support of all 5G Bands.
i have this phone for 2 days now, love design BUT battery is not so impressive so i am doubting if not switching to moto 20 pro as prive is same as 30 edge...but i guess 20 prohas better cam and battery?
@@sapien2655 i bought edge 20 pro and dissapointed :( All pic are moved so lack of stabilization is a bad thing! Battery bit better but phone is also big, i stay with 30 edge
2 mistakes you made, the edge 30 has a pOLED screen not Amoled, also it comes with the 778+ not the 778, it's slightly better. Nice review nonetheless
I believe front camera has the beauty mode on by default, if you switch it off selfies look much better :)
Love the design. For me they still need to improve their camera. Otherwise excellent phone

I remember you complained on Edge 20's haptics. How would you say edge 30's haptics compare?
They are better for sure, but not quite as good as the Edge 30 Pro

@@aswin5792Edge 30 Pro has really poor haptics so dont't have high hopes. Same cheap feeling as on Edge 20, only slightly stronger.

Well it is 340 usd only in india. For the price, it has the better cameras and almost everything at the price here

The battery life is very solid, I usually only use about 60% in a day. So even with heavier use, that should be fine

I guess that the haptics is poor like on all other newer phones from Motorola. Both Edge 20 and Edge 30 Pro have really poor haptics.

Motorola makes decent phones but none of them have good call quality or clarity. And they only get one or two updates. Pass.
