I finally bought the XH2S but dammm i still love my XS20 for the reasons u mentioned. I would also include rhe XS20 is super light. I did pair it with the ttartisan 27mm f2.8 and those have been some of my favorite photos this year.
Also check out the 18mm f2.0 pancake feom fujifilm. Its an old lens but it is kinda closer to 23mm than the 27mm
I ended up getting the viltrox 13mm f1.4 for the meantime. Hoping that an uodated pancake versiion of the 18mm gets made soon.
Pre ordered the xt50 im one who likes to change film sims for the same shot so that sim dial seems cool to me. I do have a 100vi on order. But i also have a x70 that suits my needs for a small single photo length, and i love that little guy. Thanks for your videos lots of good information on your channel

I ended up going with the X-T30ii when I couldn’t find the X100v anywhere. I’ve been quite pleased with it as my temporary bridge between DSLR and mirrorless. I had intended to just keep it for a while to try out fujifilm and then sell it, but I think it’s found a permanent spot in my camera bag with the 28mm 2.8 pancake is attached to it 95% of the time. If I shot any video I probably would have gone with the X-S20 but that’s not my jam.
agree, X-S20 is a tiny beast and for people that are interested in a small everyday camera 40mp is an obstacle rather than a feature because it makes your files so much bigger for little added value. By the way, the X-S20 also has the integrated flash for candid filmic indoor snapshots. Wish the X-T50 had the 26mp sensor and WR instead, would be so much more attractive

As someone who has the X-S20 and recently canceled my x100vi order three days ago out of pure frustration of having moved forward in line only 150 orders/people since March through Moment, I really appreciate this conclusion lol. I'm loving it with the Sigma 18-50mm F2.8, but I am itching for a tiny pancake lens for a more casual carry.

I’m in the queue for an X100vi. I think it has the best value prop for using a Fuji system alongside my full frame Sony a7cr system. The XT5 is a little big and seems it still has autofocus issues that you mentioned in a video a few days ago? The XT50 is too expensive. The XS20 makes the most sense to me but I will hold out for the WR, larger EVF and smaller lens on the x100vi as I’m not in a rush.

Great video, Tung. I love my X-T5 with my little original 35mm 1.4. I love my X-S20 as well. Completely agree on the grip and the size of that camera is just perfect.

Thank you, Tung for another in depth dive into the features! Your take on the pancake lenses was especially helpful for me 😊 I am currently deciding between voigtlander 18mm and 27mm pancakes. Both are manual focus though. The TT artisan you recommended has an autofocus and is much less expensive 😊 there’s also a TT artisan 25mm manual (we are closer to 23 with this one). What a shame I can only afford one 🤣 📷😃👍

Interesting you didn't bring up the x-e3. Obviously it isn't the same new sensor and processor but the feel is very similar. I really like mine and I chose it over the X-t series partially cause I found a really nice one cheap and partially because I like the viewfinder location
I was just thinking about what is inside the x100vi, sensor wise and processor wise. I didn't think about previous older generation models. But this could be an idea for another video thanks!
Bought a used X-E4 and paired it with a 27mm 2.8 lens - great for travel (until I can get the x100vi).
Amazing! I would reccomend that camera too but it seems those are discontinued and hard to find now 😅

It's really hard to find the XT5 these days too! Is it just me or do you find it an odd business decision that Fuji is releasing all of these new cameras...and obviously going to need manufacturing locations to make them, when they don't have enough manufacturing capability to build the cameras people already have on order? - I still have no idea when my X100VI is going to ship and I ordered it in February before it was released. And now they are going to be making 2 (or more) new cameras in addition to everything else? How does this business model work?

Love your videos and your work but it’s a bummer it’s just other Fuji cameras. For many the the reason x100v is everyday carry. I’d love to see you cover the Ricoh or Sony or Canon ones that are small
Would love to! I covered the Sony a7cii and some lenses already on this channel. Being at I’m a small channel and have zero support, I have to be smart with where I spend my money. ☺️ I don’t get these gears for free unfortunately…

The creation of the 23mm F/1.4 wr and the xt5 make the notion of an x100vi kind of a no starter for me. I’ve had the x100f and the x100t and loved those cameras but, unless Fuji comes out with a better 23mm on the x100 line, I won’t buy it.

Good video, but I think I will wait 6 months for my good looking, overhyped, excessively marketed, back-ordered to oblivion, fixed lens, made in china, APSC camera. That is what the experts in tiktok says.
I have the xs20 can you explain a little bit more why open gate 6.2k is better than 16:9 6.2k
Open gate uses your whole senser (6.2*4.2k pixels =26mp), 16:9 is normal 4k resolution (3.8k*2.2k pixels =8mp)

Better for social media creators! But there are other use cases for it.
If the X-S20 was WR and had a second SD card slot I'd be on it when I need to replace my X-T3. I don't want a camera with CF Express cards. They are too expensive for me. Maybe the next iteration of the X-S line will get those two features. Have a great day!! BTW, I hope I can find a used version of that XF23 at some point at a lower price some day. It really looks great!
The man behind the camera makes the photograph not the camera. I am very satisfied with my X100 😉 😜 oh yes, the X100 is made in Japan.
I’ll go with the XT3 with the 27 mkii or the XT5 with the 27 mkii. But i prefer the xt3! Great video young Mustang 🫡
