Thank you for helping this lovely lady. Insurance company should be ashamed of themselves, nothing wrong with her place.

The state helps but fleeces at the same time how earnestly evil, that's predatory coverage.

That was no resolution. Why is the Missouri Department of Insurance bowing to Hartford? THAT needs to be answered. FOX4, you have more work to do.

Were there photos taken by the inspector? That would instantly show the issues and if her home was not actually inspected but someone else's. Who is her insurance agent? It's possible the inspectors looked at the wrong address. Maybe the address is similar to one on a nearly street? Street / Terrace / Avenue, etc. with same house number.

Most insurance companies use drones now/aerial images they no longer have to send people out to your home for a renewal inspection. It is up to the homeowner to maintain their home wish this lady out the best.

      Drone’s don’t even double-check anything.

Bet you anything they took satellite photos and went from there. No inspector ever came out. If one did, they stayed in the car and took photos at long distance. I'm glad Fox 4 helped the woman, but I feel something called "Problem Solvers" could have pursued the matter with Hartford a bit longer, maybe after ensuring the woman had coverage through the Fair Plan.
