Thanks Jules 🤙🏼 ….. even though they are big they are built so well that you don’t notice the size. But with the zapper you get a lot of speed and it’s a mind game to not touch your breaks or you come up short 😬
Thanks Belinda …. I turned 50 late last year but this keeps me feeling young although after a big effort when racing it’s a struggle to get out of bed the next day. You, Nate and I need to do a ride together sometime 🤙🏼
Thanks Christoph ... we estimate the ramp is about 4m high with another 2m to the flat spot on top and if you land on the down slope then you probably went about 7m at the top ....
Great vid Dave and sweat intro, seeing the progression through the session and also your comments and expressions on your progression made it so good.Well done man🤙👌👊
Awesome work clearing Zapper by the end of the day. It's shocking how long it takes for your brain to finally let go of the brakes and send. Took me 3 sessions.
Thanks Darren …. I think the zapper is the biggest in the park …. 4m ramp with the lander 2m higher again. Although the 3 lines at the start are called ‘mild’, ‘medium’ & ‘spicy’! I haven’t done spicy yet 😬
Thanks Matty, I use triple 8 wristsavers 2 … get the slide version which are easier and quicker to get on. Essentially they are for skateboarding or roller skates/rollerblades and under $50 delivered. I’ve bought from a shop in Brisbane and also Adelaide
This place looks sick!! How much is the entry?? Thinking I'll have to make the trek out there, too good not to. Great job on the jumps too man, killed it!
It’s run by the Northern Beaches council and is free ….. it has a lot of progression and there is a section for dirt jumps bikes as well as a bitumen pump track
haha ..... yep the good thing with the zapper is if you come up a bit short there is no drama & you go quicker the next time. You'll get it quicker than I did though
Well done Dave! That was awesome
Thanks Todd!
Fricken what? That's massive dude. . Totally stoked for you clearing zapper. Congrats. ⚡🚲💪
Thanks Tom 🙏 it took all my brain to stop me from touching the breaks to make it in the end 😬 ... appreciate your comment 👍
Yes Dave! That was brilliant to watch mate. What a facility👌🏼. Those are some hefty jumps mate🤘🏼
Thanks Jules 🤙🏼 ….. even though they are big they are built so well that you don’t notice the size. But with the zapper you get a lot of speed and it’s a mind game to not touch your breaks or you come up short 😬
Honestly Dave your riding has gotten so good. Watching you grow as a rider has been great.
Thanks Belinda …. I turned 50 late last year but this keeps me feeling young although after a big effort when racing it’s a struggle to get out of bed the next day.
You, Nate and I need to do a ride together sometime 🤙🏼
This is so good to watch Dave, hope to ride here at Bare Creek this year!
Thanks Jake. It won't disappoint ... let me know when & I'll see if I can get there
Nice work!! Wow, that jump park is just off the hook!! JEALOUS...

@@DMMTB 👍🏼
Well done Dave.. persistence always pays off🤙
At the beginning of the day I was't sure I would get anywhere near clearing it but the confidence was getting better with every run 👍
Good vid and nice work with clearing the Zapper. Can’t wait to go back there.
Cheers Jason 🤙🏼
Great video Dave, great to see you with the guys. Great jumps, the last jumps are huge. Awesome work mate. Have a great day and ride on
Thanks Christoph ... we estimate the ramp is about 4m high with another 2m to the flat spot on top and if you land on the down slope then you probably went about 7m at the top ....

Super cool video Dave, got Nash and i frothin to hit the Zapper, can’t wait to ride with you again, been too long ol mate 🤘🏻
Cheers Jono, yeah it has been to long. Might be hitting knapsack tomorrow arvo on the gambler if you want to join?
Persistence and fear management. Great work Dave.
Loving the restrained use of dorne footage too.
Thanks Carl ... I got there in the end 🤘

Thanks Steve. That was my goal to unlock the zapper 👌🏼
Sickk!! Great story telling on this one mate. Loved it!
Thanks Jaron ..... it was an easy story to tell .... just landing a bit further each time until I cleared it. It's a massive step up 😎
Nailed it Dave 🍻
Cheers Scott ... happy to get that feature under my belt 🤘
Love your vid I subscribed to you and also I am going to bear creak today😀😀
Thanks for the support, I really appreciate it. Enjoy Bare Creek
Good work Dave! That jump looks pretty huge haha.
I'm contemplating on trying Clips soon... D:
Don’t go to clips it’s a little better for racing but you loose your jumping technique … the ramp is about 4m and another 2m to the lander 🤙🏼
Well done!
Cheers Mark 🤙🏼
Good job mate I know how big those jumps are even if they don’t look the biggest on camera
Cheers …. Yeah the ramp is about 4m high. Thanks for watching and I appreciate the comment
Awesome work clearing Zapper by the end of the day. It's shocking how long it takes for your brain to finally let go of the brakes and send. Took me 3 sessions.
Thanks for your help .... yeah now i get how much of a mental game it is to not touch the breaks 🤯
👍 Awesome
Yes mate! Great sending and what an awesome place to practice those big hits. Will we be seeing the big line in the future?
Thanks Darren …. I think the zapper is the biggest in the park …. 4m ramp with the lander 2m higher again. Although the 3 lines at the start are called ‘mild’, ‘medium’ & ‘spicy’! I haven’t done spicy yet 😬
Persistence pays off mate. Good effort 🤟
Thanks Col .... So stoked to get that one 🤘
Nice work 👌🏼👌🏼
Thanks Tyas .... took a heap of try's to finally get it
But lemme know when you have done cliff drop on a 2011 Scott spark XC bike with 110mm of travel
I’d never do that but if you have then good on ya 👍
Need to follow you in… 😮
Will have to set up a time and date
Hey, 1st congrats. Im currently sitting on the side lines with a broken wrist (among other brakes). Wondering what wrist guards you're using.
Thanks Matty, I use triple 8 wristsavers 2 … get the slide version which are easier and quicker to get on. Essentially they are for skateboarding or roller skates/rollerblades and under $50 delivered. I’ve bought from a shop in Brisbane and also Adelaide

You don’t have to pay 😃
Hey man just wondering can I do the big jumps on my hard tail?
Depending on your skill level ... when i 1st went I cased them all & then you know what speed you need
Apparently Rod is gonna pop my Zapper cherry too... good to know he is gentle
haha ..... yep the good thing with the zapper is if you come up a bit short there is no drama & you go quicker the next time. You'll get it quicker than I did though
@@DMMTB no rush. Your video got me pumped to go and try it though.
@@MTBMcPhee key is to be there 1st thing & with little wind
Sickk, great story telling on this one mate. Loved it!
Thanks Jaron .... it was a big step up and happy to tick it off the list 🤘
